Applied for EOR - Received my result in less than 7 days - No Change.
6.5 -------->6.5
Listening 8.5
Reading 8.5
Speaking 8.5
Writing 6.5
-------
I tend to never blame others. So I can't say much about if it's a good or bad idea. Let's think they will us what we really deserve.
My advice is sitting for another test rather than doing EOR.
EOR is not cheap compared to taking another test. But, sometimes we can't imagine ourselves sitting for another test, taking possible risks of getting even lower scores.
------
The bottom line; success in EOR is no more than 50-50. Examiners are NOT bunch of drunk people. Like any human, they're prone to making mistakes but once in a while, up to around 0.5.
Sitting for another test, however, gives you the upper hand if you've already scored 7.5+ in your previous tests.

Hi Hessam,

Sorry to hear abt it. Was it a computer delivered test and was it with BC or IDP?

IDP+ It was not computer-delivered.
Strange. It cannot be returned within a week through post unless you are giving the test in Australia. Are they scrutinizing the EORs at the same centers now?! What's the point in filing an EOR then?

Well. I felt the same thing. For this reason, I asked the person in charge in our centre for the report issued, and he did!
What else could I do? I could only respect the decision and work harder :(
I just emailed my test centre, paid them in person and after 7 days, the final decision was made! I went to the centre and collected the one-page letter!
Test centres usually scan our papers and send them to Australia. So there's no need for special action when it comes to remarking. 7 days are fair enough to check!

When you say you asked for a report was it the same one-page document stating that your score has remained unchanged? That document is the EOR outcome mailed out to all candidates opting for a paper based EOR. It usually takes at least 4 weeks for the paper based revaluation. I got mine in around 3. See the point? Nonetheless, you have good scores in other modules so buck up, you will crack it in the next attempt.

I just googled it:
The release of your results usually ranges from 2 to 21 days depending on several factors including the number of components requested to be remarked.

I didn't receive an email. Because my test centre requested on behalf of me.
Yes, I the same letter you just stated.
Let's see what happens this time!

Has anyone who took the ielts test (IDP) from Pittsburgh centre applied for EOR? How many days do they usually take to disclose the result? I heard that the wait time is longer for Pittsburg centre!

hey guy i need your opinion regarding my situation
i score LRWS 8,8.5,6.5,6.5 respectively i am sure i did well in S&W
earlier i also scored 7.5 in Writing and i am confident that time that i could score 7 at least in speaking .
should i go for reval as i gave ielts from india in BC.?
really seek your advise.
My personal advise would be go for EOR only if you are sure that you did well.
For speaking and writing there are chances for in an increase unlike listening and reading because it is purely based on right/wrong questions

Is there anyone who got the required score for READING after remark???
My scores are as follows & Im confused.

Feb 9th - 7.5/8/7/8 LRWS
march 23rd- 8.5/6.5/7/7

I'm not gonna retake the exam, but should I try remarking????
Reading and Listening marks rarely change, as these are not subjective (depending on the examiner), and already have fixed answers. I wouldn't recommend getting an EOR.
