Great Information and good to see you back in action @SithLord :) All the best for your PPR. When I had called up the agent last week she said, my eligibility is in process and after that criminality and security would be completed. She can see my RPRF processed and attached to file. Also she said within a month or probably within a week the file will go to local NDVO otherwise everything looks normal. My file is still in ottawa. So just a quick query, PPR email is triggered from Ottawa or NDVO? I am just waiting for my application to show some ghost updates from this week :)
That's actually good news :) So I guess the final confirmation will come from NDVO in your case.

If you get a ghost update, it could mean that your file is transferred to NDVO. That's definitely great news they were able to tell you that information :)

All the best for your PPR

I am not quite sure but how much I know, when the file is in local NDVO that means you are very near in receiving your ppr.. All the best :)

In my notes , it was the case analyst who recommended passed. So I'm guessing it's the Visa officer who will actually take the final decision to pass it.
Not really

I have recommended passed by case analyst , an officer still has to check to change it to passed
I have noticed both coming from Case Analyst "Met" and "Recommended Pass"

The file will still have to go through the final review which is probably were it will be made official.

Thanks.. same to you as our AOR's are same. I will wait till month end if I don't receive any updates , will then call agent to check VO as they easily provide which VO our file is in. Till that time waiting for some ghost update or directly PPR :)

As per the October thread, Ottawa VO applicants are finding movement around 150-160 days :) So most likely majority of us Nov 1st week folks should see some movement this week.

Fingers crossed!! :D

Ok, my bank doesn't provide the stamped copies but the online is digitally signed. And we had submitted both of our statements for last 6 months. not sure why this request.
Was the average balance of last six months more than required POF amount?

Hey mate, i am sorry i forgot to add something too, is there a problem to state that the manager when writing the reference letter was trying to follow the content guidlines of the IRCC. I mean the letter is usually custom made and I have mentioned that so that later I explain why he didnt mention the salary in the letter. What worries me is that its misunderstood, specially that some of my duties are very close to the NOC one. What do you think
You are not supposed to copy or refer the rules and responsibilities from NOC page when writing roles and responsibilities. The manager or HR person is supposed to write in their own words what exactly you have done and then the reference letter is to be matched with a NOC code that has the roles & responsibilities closest to what is written on your reference letter.

But I guess nothing can be done and lets hope the visa officer ignores this LOE.

Does anyone know the difference between 'met' and 'recommend pass' in GCMS notes?
Recommend Pass - Case analyst has reviewed all your eligibility documents and found them acceptable
Met - Visa officer has reviewed all your eligibility documents and found them acceptable and nothing further is to be done for eligibility.

Hello all,
What is checked in IP2 stage . My AOR : 21.11.18 , MEP : 04.01.19 . IP2 stage : 04.04.19 . What will be checked in this IP2 stage . How many days from here to PPR . I am FSW- O(India)
There is no "IP2" stage. No one can predict how many days it will take exactly, but recent trends have shown that people are getting PPR soon after ghost update so I predict you expect your PPR within a month or so :)

Hi all .
Hope some updates are seen in 24 hrs.
October applicants are getting pprs. This wait is really making me anxious now. Hope Nov applicants are also lucky to see updated msg in their account.

Recommend Pass - Case analyst has reviewed all your eligibility documents and found them acceptable
Met - Visa officer has reviewed all your eligibility documents and found them acceptable and nothing further is to be done for eligibility.
So Met would imply that another officer doesn't require to go through eligibility again while Recommend Pass does? As in Met is one step more closer to being 'passed' than 'Recommend Pass'.

Met > Recommend Pass ?

:D
