Query regarding NOC type A jobs for EE

hi guys. does anyone on this forum know whether we have to work in exact title job for NOC A and B skilled set or is it the job description that matters and not the title?
I am working as Research assistant but the JD is of financial credit analyst.

No, the exact job title is not necessary. The job duties, especially the lead statement and the main job duties need to match the NOC.

Companies across the world may call the same job many different things, that's why the title doesn't really matter.

More or less... but agreed they are more inclined on duties

thanks guys. my job titile is research assistant-credit ratings but duties are of credit analyst.
