AOR feb 2018 and no medical request as at today. You can get medical early or late like me but the overall processing and background checks will anyway be within 20 months... do check you junk or spam mailbox though.
Are you inland or outland?
Do you know if your security check has started or not?

Hi Diya

4 lines
1.Application received 26 feb 2018
2.AOR 27 March 2018
3. Application in process 29 March 2019
4.Request for ROPRF 29 March 2019

It won’t change unless you’re application is “in process”, I waited 1 whole year for an update. Each case is different though, don’t worry, nothing negative will happen, you will get good news in due time :)

P.s: GC key password is known to the agency only since they will more likely use the same password for all other applicants. I tried and that is the answer I got lol. What you can do is ask them to provide an update from the GC key. They will send you a PDF where you will see the steps and which one you are currently at. For me, it stayed on the 2nd line “eligibility review -we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements” for a year.
If you are using an agent you won't be able to view it your profile in GC Key but you can on Ecas.

Check your application status via www.cic.gc.ca

Hi everyone! I got my CSQ last September and I applied for my PR on paper in last October. It has been 6 months and I havent got any emails from CIC. I have been trying to link my paper application to my CIC account and it cannot find my application either. Is anyone on the same boat with me? I will call CIC this Friday and try to find out what is going on. I am getting a little anxious right now.

Contact them and find the cause. This happened to me also. I applied on april 2017 and waited for 8months for their response but it was in vain. I have to reapply again in jan 2018 and due to this my process is pushed back and i have been waiting for my ppr since feb 2016.

Dear INDIA2647,

Have you gotten your PPR email now ?
Dear adeboyeadejobi and all my other friends

I received my PPR email the golden email as we all love to call it on April 1st. Finally after a wait of more than 7 years my journey for PR comes to a positive conclusion. :) I want to sincerely thank all those who have supported me in this journey. The support at times has come through information while at times through moral support, tremendous moral support. There have been occasions in my journey wherein I had almost taken a decision to withdraw my application however the support from the members on this forum has stopped me from taking that decision.

My request to you all is have patience. The CSQ process can literally be tormenting at times but with patience and support from the members on this forum each one can and will sail through successfully.

I could not come back to the forum as I got busy in some immediate things like passport submission and all. Plus my family and I had to overcome the feeling of being overwhelmed. The atmosphere in the house for the last three days was more like Diwali, Christmas, Eid or any other happy festival you celebrate in your country. :)

Once again friends, thank you so much for all the help. I will be here and happy to help anyone who has any specific questions. God Bless you all.

Regards,

Rahul (My real name)

Do you see your biometrics update on your GC account?

I gave my biometrics several hours ago then this empty part is updated and filled up with biometrics number, enrolment date which is today, and expiry date.

Btw, in my Online services account, I have a total of 3 lines.
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 8, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 27, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on March 27, 2019.
That's great that your ECAS now has at least started showing 'In Process', maybe because you got biometrics request. My file received date is 11th Oct 2018 and it still says 'Application Received'. I am just hoping that it changes soon to In Process so that I can assure myself of some traction in my case. On the other hand, I somehow feel that status changes only when you get some communication from their side as they request for medicals, landing fee, PCC, etc. If that's true, then I guess my status will only change when I receive Medical Request.

This is absolutely confusing and tests your patience to heights.

Thanks.
