Hey I spoke to a CSE today and she informed me they are still reviewing my eligibility. The reminder that the previous agent had sent has not been viewed by the officer yet. She just asked me to wait.. It's getting difficult to wait without any update. The last update was in Sept 18 stating I have passed my medical.
Well, I am in the same situation as you are.

Hi,

I am new to this forum, could you please tell how were you able to talk to the agent, when I dial in all I get is automated machines.

Thanks

btw my AOR was on 18 Aug 2018.
I called +16139444000 using Skype from India. I was never able to go through those automated messages in the morning hours (EST) as the lines were always busy. Try calling in the afternoon (after midnight in India)..that is when I had my luck. Hope it helps.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me with the whats app group of August AOR people and people flying to Canada this summer thread/whats app group?

Also, guys, our AOR was 23rd August. Got PPR after almost 7 months i.e 20th March. I called the immigration office to enquire on my application elapse date which was 23rd Feb (6 months) and they told us that the security check is left.
So, i guess it took them almost a month after that to send us PPR.
All the best!

Hi Guys. Got my COPR today (2nd April) . Had submitted my passport to New Delhi VO on 12th March. Just got an SMS that my passport is ready to collect. My CIC profile has also been updated.
Again I wish everyone all the best. May you all get your PPRs soon.

I cannot believe the amount of people still awaiting PPR in July and August AOR. I am early September AOR. My application says they are still reviewing my eligibility and my background check is in progress. I passed the 6 month mark March 5th. Good luck everyone. I think the Ottawa office is in overload. I am interested to know how fast the BC offices are probably much faster.

Dear All,

I got my PPR on April 1 and was planning to submit our passports tomorrow but learnt that my wife's passport will be within 6 months expiry in the timeframe so have been advised to renew it. I shall get that done within a week. However, I was wondering do I have to inform IRCC via we form or something or as advised by a consultant and a few friends I just need to add a covering letter when I submit to VHS explaining the same. Would appreciate help here asap!

Guys, my AOR is Aug 27, 2018 and the only update I received from CIC is that I passed my medical on Sep 21, 2018. I crossed the 6-month mark towards the end of Feb 2019 and came to know thru GCMS notes in mid-march 2019 that I did not attach the work experience letter of my current job. I did upload that immediately on that day (i,.e March 14, 2019) and did not receive any update afterwards.

I call the CIC agent today to see if there has been any progress but she mentioned that my eligibility status is "Not Met" (as per the initial one before I uploaded the work exp letter) and security not started. I am not really sure if there is any other way of speeding up the process. Will my application will ever be reviewed ? Will I ever get to see the golden email ? Is there anyone else in the same situation ? I am starting to lose hope now that my application will be put on hold for ever.
You are too late to realize this. We have separate thread for cases like this here

Ottawa office overloaded is not really accurate. For majority of the cases if they don't find anything fishy they were getting processed under 2 months. Any small info that catches agent's eye are getting scrutinized and there is no process in place for those cases which are being held. That is where the lot of discomfort all of us having.

I think you should let them know because ultimately there is a passport number change which isn't really part of the approved PPR application as far as I know. If IRCC is good with expiry passport you are literally wasting your effort to go through this self made nuisance.
