That sounds like a quota to me, e.g. "Approve 2 appl from country X for 1 appl from country Y"

Maybe it's because more applicants from India and more load on LVO

I have given my biometrics and paid for RPRF, but my account still says, "your action is required" and that I need to give fingerprints. However, it has the reference number on the very top right. any idea?

Aor 25th Jan.
Mep 5th march. Got mail as acc updated the following day.
Bio 11th Jan dint get mail but profile updated the following day as completed.
Since Aor my Bacground is showing as We are process ur Bacground check will updated if need info.
Just an hour back when I opened acc it should updated and my BG changed to ur application is in process we will let u know when we start BG check.
I loggot out and logged in again it was showing submitted.
Please help?

Looks like we are in the same boat, my BG was we are processing your BG and I got rprf letter and after I pay and submit the rprf receipt my BG is changed to same status as yours that application in progress and will update when start BG check. My AOR 22 Jan.

Status update to Approved Today. I forgot to ask for return track when submit the document to Ottawa, guess I will be waiting for my passport to come back in the mail then.

For your info, my AOR is Jan 28 so 2 months process in total for me. Yes, I am in-land CEC applicant

The long wait with no updates is difficult. Hoping to see some movement in other applications.

they are calling up so many new people with Q1 ITA at highest ever. CIC should also increase the processing speed else there will be a huge backlog.

Application status has usually two things to say ..1) submitted and 2) updated

2) updated is also known as ghost update if there is no change in details of full application columns of eligibity, review, background etc etc .

Usually after month of bio we can expect good news..now is ur turn

What I know is that only 1-10% people get verification calls .. rest if ur docs are good and solid prima-facie then no calls are made to office.

I think BG status changed to in progress after one week of giving bio .
Like mep n bioreq was 19feb
Bio given was 27 feb and almost by 7-6-8 March BG changed to in progress..
since then it’s same .
