Guys. Help me out.

Have you checked your sponsor's emails for AOR? It'd be unlikely that they'd send the biometrics collection letter to you if you've not got AOR.

I checked email many times. I didn't get the aor yet. Will they ask me to submit the document again or reject it right away?

Some people never get AOR. When you log in to ECAS, on the sponsor side does it say:

'We started processing your application on March xx, 2019'

I can see application number and UCI number in GC key though. Ecas saying "we started processing.. and we sent you message"

Should I call CIC to inform the situation or ask my wife to go and submit biometrics, but if gender is wrong, they won't let her do biometrics. Right?

You can call and ask them to amend it and resend the collection letter back out. Does the collection letter show her gender as M?

I wouldn't worry about AOR as ECAS states they've begun to process it so you're all set there.

Yes. In collection letter it shows M.

Yeah, I'd give them a call and ask them to change it to F and resend the collection letter. If they won't speak to you due to you being the sponsor then you may need to send a web form off requesting them to change it and resend. You'll still be within the timeframe so don't worry.

Thanks. Appreciate the help. I am looking into the web form, and it asks Applicant information and Enquirer information. In this case,
Applicant - My wife
Enquirer - Me (Sponsor)?
What about the birth place? Its little bit different(Vellore instead of Vellore, Tamilnadu). Will it be problem too?

No, just put it down as the applicant. You can ask for that amendment to be made but it shouldn't make too much difference, unlike the gender mishap.

Just contacted them. They said they cant access the information and either ask my wife to give them call or submit through webform.

Yeah as the sponsor you won't be able to talk to them about the application unless you put yourself as the PA's rep. The web form will be fine and takes up to 5 business days to go through - just fill the details out as if you're the applicant and in the second bit put applicant too.

Which is why it's always better to be on behalf as representative.

My other half (sponsor) has just left me to get on with this and calls me a nerd for being so invested :p She gets excited at the different stages though

AOR2 from Mississauga rarely comes, that's the moved to VO stage and is sent to the sponsor.

If you don't receive another email with them stating they're processing your application then you'll have to wait for ECAS to update on the PA side. Once it updates to say 'We began processing your application on March xx, 2019' then that can be considered AOR2.

Still, very good news that it's gone to CPC-M.
