We’re not worried as it’s very common for them to ask of more proof for common law. What did you send off as proof? Have you got AOR yet? We had ours. Presuming after this they will send the rest like SA and MR

I'm married That lower the case of additional proof but we sent a lot of things. Letters of support from family friends, picture of wedding, and so on. Is a solid application according to me. Yup AOR Yesterday. Waiting SA and MR

I really hope they don't ask for more cuz I sent them our rental agreement, joint bank statements, statutory declaration of common law, and notarized letters from our friends/lawyers stating that we're legit.

Kvo couldn't find my passport last year after applying for visitors . I paid for DHL to return it made numerous calls to DHL they told me they didn't receive it from Vo I had to go their directly was still told it was sent back to me luckily I saw a high school mate who worked their she search for it only to hear it was mis filed. I got it tho

@schweisy, @ryester , that's about your recent talk if something can be lost by a VO or CPC. Here you are. I think they can easily lose an elephant in their office, not just an application.

That's concerning... It makes me appreciate that I've not had to send any originals in, and only have to send photocopies of the photo page for PPR.

I always wonder who works at the VO's are they locals are Canadians?

VO is part of an embassy, which is a diplomatic mission, so all the officers are Canadians of course. Locals can work in a foreign embassy only as operating personnel, i.e. chefs, etc.

Hello there, my application was returned today because of the fact that I left some fields empty. what really caught my attention though, is that I received an application and UCI numbers with it. Does that mean they will start working on it right away or I will have to wait 45 days?

You'll need to re'apply and back to sqaure 0, sorry. I'm waiting for over month and half for an answer
