45MB??
What documents are putting in there? That's way too much for just a reference letter and a few pay slips...

Bank statement
tax declarations of 4 years
references letters
bills and proof of payment from customers
papers that shows that i'm the owner of the company

it's for self employed proof of experience.

How good should be the quality of the scan?

Try to keep the scan quality of the scanner to only 200 DPI then if the file still large , use ilovepdf.com or pdf.io to shrike the file even further.

I suggest you try to cut down on some documents, for example , if you are not claiming work experience in Canada you do not need to submit tax declarations at all, it's completely optional and can be substituted by bank statements showing your available funds. However, If you feel it will support your case , try to speak to the local tax office and ask them if they can offer a brief statement that shows roughly how much you made and paid back in taxes over whatever you want.

As for bills , again , IRCC doesn't care if you paid electricity bills or telephone lines as long as you can proof your business exist through a trade licence or professional practice permit then you are good to go. you can take them out and substitute with either first and last month bills. Keeping proof of payments by customers is important and can act on behalf of your expenses to show that your business is legit.

With all of that, you can really bring it down to well below 4 MB.

Regards,,,

Thank you for your reply,

I'm showing one taxe return per year ( for 4 years) instead of 4 per year. Is it enough or should i mention all of them even if there is a trimestre that shows 0.
I'm also showing the corporate tax which is once a year, so 4 in total.

I keep reducing my file and the result is still the same (7mb)

Look at my other tips!

As for tax files , if you are receiving your income through your bank account , then tax bills are completely useless as bank statement will show enough record of you earning money for your work which is what IRCC is looking.

Did you reduce the number of documents you include in that one PDF ?

I finally made it by reducing the number of customers bills with their proof of payment and deleting photos of works that i have done.
I also deleted the bank statement. I left only the proofs of payment. Is it fine to do that?

Is 7 customer invoices with their proof of payment enough ?

Can i attach the photos of works realized in the explanation letter part?
