Hello guys here is my situation:

I am holding a muti-enter visa
Right now i only have less than 2 weeks left for the six-month stay, and i want to extend my stay.

Thing is i plan to leave canada around May, which is before a decision about my extension app will be made ( take 64 days said on cic webstie )

So I wanna ask what happened if i leave before the decision is made? Do i need to wait till a decision is made then leave? Some website says the result of extension app will be considered as rejected. I wonder will this effect my entry and visa/immigrant app in the future?

Thank you for your help

You can leave whenever you want to. Your application to extend your stay + your implied status will become void when you leave.

You can inform IRCC that you are leaving. Do send the IRCC web form

So there will not be record about rejected extension app when i apply for other visa/immigrant in the future if I inform IRCC I am leaving during implied status?
I still have my concern: will i have trouble with CBSA next entry? I mean they can see I shoulda leave in APR but I enter another country in May. Will I get any proof from IRCC to explain the situation?

Of course, IRCC would have all your applications - whether a decision is given or the application is withdrawn - on records.

If you are leaving before you get a decision on your extension application then do send a IRCC web form to inform that you are leaving.

As for your next entry, whether or not you are allowed entry and for how long will depend on the CBSA officer you meet.

S/he will consider how long you stayed on your previous visit, how soon you are returning, the purpose of your new visit, maybe your finances for your stay, etc before allowing you into the country

Thank you I understand how this works now, but it doesnt answer my concern tho.....

Not sure what concerns you still have. All your questions have already been answered in this thread
About next entry, if i extend and stay till May, will CBSA officer consider this as overstay? Because I don't think i have anything to proof I applied extension then leave during implied status

And I am afraid applying extension then leave during implied status will have negative effect on my future entry and other visa app. I plan to apply study permit in the future.

You are on implied status once you apply for an extension. You are free to leave when you are on this implied status. It is not an overstay.

Proof that you applied to extend your stay will suffice when/if you are asked by the CBSA officer when you return.

Returning too soon is not a good idea - that's if you plan to visit a third country, in May, for a few days/weeks and then return to Canada.

Study permit applications must be made from a country where you have the strongest ties. Applying for a study permit in-Canada is not a good idea

Thank you for your patient. I am returning to my home country and applying study permit there. Plan to return to Canada in August. By the way normally i should stay at least 6 months out of Canada before next entry if I am holding vistor visa, but what if I leave in May and enter again in August with study permit? Will I be fine with CBSA?

CBSA will almost certainly allow you back into Canada if you have a valid TRV and you're returning to study.

You're overthinking :p
