have you been charged/convicted of a crime in any country, refused admission to Canada or required to leave Canada? Do you have any dependents not listed in your application? I answered no, she went to the back of the room to get some forms and asked me to sign. Then she said congratulations!!
Everything literarily took 5 minutes.

That’s pretty much what happens at any process after the landing.
I have a friend who just got her Pr by PNP and that’s what they say after sealing your passport back and giving you the Pr
Not really an interview.

but when i applied for extension i was refused and asked to leave immediately which i didn’t. anyone who have passed the interview with same situation. i am really worried as to what will happen when i will tell them that yes i was asked to leave but i didn’t.

Hello I don’t think this is a big deal. One time a few years ago I applied for a work permit extension as well and it was refused. But I still had implied status.
When you have a work permit and it’s about to expire and you are still in the country when you apply for another one you still have 90 days legally to be in the country ( implied status) obviously you can’t work but as long as you have a process you can stay. So I don’t think that’s a problem just say no because you still had implied status.

They ask the same question in the application you submitted. All you have to do is be honest about it.

Hi guys!

This morning I've got DM on sponsor side.

I didn't get the letter yet but I hope it's good news.
Anyone else from the beginning of August 2018 getting updates?

Hi I checked ECAS just now and found the sponsors side has been changed from AR to IP. What does it mean please? I remembered it has been changed from IP to AR before

This is very fast! Congrat!! You are possibly the first of August applicants to be done.
Any ideas why this is going faster for some of us, and slower for the others? Does nationality make any difference in the background check?
