Thanks @Connectuae for your Swift response.

Please can you provide an answer to thw below question as I am presently in the same predicament with the applicant @moodi019

I am still preparing my PR application...and i am not sure about this:
when providing the POF documents and the Proof of previous relevant work experience documents...do i have to send the original documents or copies that i printed in color from scanned originals ?

for example...should i submit the authenticated statement from my bank or a copy from it in color ?

Don’t get confused with color copies and black & white copies. Its safe to send black and white documents as long as they are in good visible quality. The only color on the documents they want to see is the applicants signature by a blue or black pen(both acceptable). And the sign and stamp from the bank employee on bank letter.
Some banks have blue, stamps some have black stamps.

For previous relevant work experience-
Job reference letter which have your job duties matched with NOC on your endorsement, paystubs, old bank statements if your salary gets debited to your account, your certifications in your NOC you are or were endorsed in.(Original document can be printed on the official letterhead of the company)(IRCC will only need a copy)

Bank statement- Don’t print it yourself via web banking. Go to the bank and ask for your statement of account . Get it stamped and signed by the authorising person.

Thanks once again @Connectuae for responding to my concerns.

Pertaining the old bank statement (salary account) my company don't pay her employees on a monthly bank deposit, we are paid by cash. Would that be a problem if I don't submit my salary statement?

Also, I plan opening an investment account (fixed deposit) and deposit the required POF, while I get a certificate for the investment from the bank. Please would this be acceptable by IRCC as POF?

Thanks for taking out the time to respond to my questions. I appreciate your kind gesture.

I am not sure about fixed deposit but ircc need the financials to be readily available to you.
If your company paid you cash then your salary, job duration, hours worked and lump sum yearly salary can be written by the employer im the letterhead, along with your job duties at the company. Signed and stamped by the employer on their official letterhead that has employers contact phone and email.

What’s the normal time that CIC takes to process the Background checks for inland appliactions?
everybody might be different. My background checking since Nov. Last year. I found a ghost update yesterday and I called cic this morning. The agent said everything was passed right now and waiting for decision making. Hopefully it is coming soon. It will be 6 months after this month.

Thanks for responding to my concerns. I appreciate your kind gesture. The Treasury bill can be liquidated at any time, so it would be available to me whenever the need arises.

Will you submit your PR inland or outland? As if inland you don’t need to provide proof of funds. You do have to show proof of funds for a work permit but it’s not the same as your PR proof of funds.

* So long as your employer provides IRCC the requirements for the employment reference

* are you saying the funds needed are not held in a bank account currently? IRCC will question the authonsisity of the funds if you can not show a paper trail ie if they just appear in a bank account you will need to show where they have come from they could be concerned they are borrowed and that is not allowed.
* If you are opening a bank account to save up for the required funds to settle then this is ok as IRCC will be able to see a paper trail of savings via a certified bankers statement.

Hope this is what info you were looking for.

That’s good news, it’s in the queue to be reviewed and approved. Was that your first ghost update?

I am an Outland applicant. Yes the funds required are not held in a bank account presently. A friend who happens to be a successful PR applicant through AIPP told me that an investment account (Treasury bill) opened 2 months before application submission and funds deposited into the account can be used for AIPP PR application in view of the fact that was what he used last year 2018 and was approved. Could it be his information is misleading? Please expatiate..

Please what in a case that I am opening a bank account to save up the required funds, how many months bank statement would be sufficient?

I anticipate your response and thanks for answering my questions.

I am no expert, like a lot of us on here we all try to guide fellow members. I just learnt along the way by spending hours of reading things about IRCC of how things work. Remember what one officer will allow another officer may not. If you know someone who is saying he has been successful and you trust his judgment then you must make the own decision. Good luck.
