Hi, it's extremely early for u to lose hope or give up. Some area may have made the analyst skeptical and hence to draw the attention of visa officer, ur file has been placed under eligibility review.

There can be multiple causes for eligibility review like proof of funds thru FD/gift deeds/ employment letter missing reqd info/marital status/ immig points etc. There has been many instances where analyst marked review reqd while visa officer approved it without raising any additional document request or procedural fairness letter.

The exact reason for review reqd can only be known after we get GCMS notes in hand. As a part of regular process, ur file will be reviewed by the visa officer who will if required will ask u for additional supporting documents and explanations.

They will not directly reject ur case without dling the above as per law. Such rejections are first very few and most likely during R10 checks which u would get to know within first 3 months.

Until u get GCMS notes, protect ur peace and try not to allow ur mind to play negative games. Live the moment.

If it would help u to feel any better, if u check my signature, u can see my eligibility is met however I am yet to receive my golden email so ur case isn't delayed cuz of RR alone. There's a lotta backlog currently in CIC and background check depts.
Cheers!!
Hi @Asiv adanac , i see that you mentioned your eligibility is met. Can you please let me know what exactly does it represent ? And also what is the next step after eligibilty met..is it is passed ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi, initially a document completeness check ( R10) is done at Central intake office, then a case analyst assesses eligibility and marks it as 'eligibility met ' or 'review rqd' etc etc in his/her preliminary report to the visa officer.

After this verdict is given by the case analyst, as a part of standard operating procedure, the file will be queued for review by the officer. It is the officer who will give the verdict as 'Recommended passed'.

If ur case processing centre is in Canada then ur golden email will be sent by CPC Ottawa however if ur VO is London or New Delhi, then these respective offices sends the golden mail across.

Cheers!! All the best!!

Hi! I posted the same query on Sep AOR thread. I believe, like me, not many there have much clue about this. So I am still waiting for an input. I received my notes yesterday and need inputs on what further actions I should take. Or, should I do just nothing and wait. Your feed back will be very valuable. I have 'X'ed out all parts that would point out to me or any organisation. Thanks.

Hi People,

Hope everyone is doing absolutely great.

I have been a silent observer for ages now; I want to congratulate people who have gotten the COPR emails and also wish luck people who are waiting for one. I wanted an advice or rather an insight regarding my case because initially i thought it to be a very simple one but i guess management of canadian immigration think otherwise. So my 6 months processing time ended on 20th of February, and i am an applicant from Pakistan. After persistent calling I got through an agent on 7th March to inquire whether the delay is due to a discrepancy in my application or something else, but the agent assured that everything seems on track. She also sent an email to concerned Visa Office and they replied with an email stating the following:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.

Regards,
Stéphanie Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada | Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada Government of Canada | Gouvernement du Canada www.cic.gc.ca"

I am not sure whether this is a standard email reply or I should be concerned considering they asked me to basically stay under the leash. I will highly appreciate if anyone can just share their personal experience of what exactly does this mean

Hi, this letter has been circulated to many folks who crossed 6 months off late whenever they raised cse enquiring status or thru client agent centre. With regards to the jargon ' under review and requires additional verifications ' we cannot close anything conclusive unless u get ur gcms notes in hand. It can also be another way of saying queued for an officer review as I mentioned in the previous posts but mere making or relying on speculations without hardcore facts is like taking a shot in the dark.

Hi, u just need to include the job reference letter, u don't to mention about gcms feed back. Below content is copy pasted from CIC website, pls go thru it carefully.

Quote-:

Proof of work experience
Purpose
To prove each work experience claim and to validate that the applicant meets program requirements

Document requirements
  • The personalized document checklist in applicants’ online account prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
  • At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
  • if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Individuals who must submit this documentation
  • The principal applicant
  • Their spouse or common-law partner (if work experience in Canada is claimed)
Mandatory documents (if applicable)
The following documents are mandatory if applicable (i.e., based on the personal circumstances of the applicant and their dependents).

When applicable, applications that do not contain the following documents will be rejected as incomplete and fees will be refunded.
Unquote-:

All the above info can be found on the following link.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html
@anotherone11 & @Asiv adanac : Thank you so much for the valuable information and help. I contacted my HR and thankfully they gave me the letter (included my full name, title, salary, compensation/salary, address, signature and stamp of HR representative and job duties/responsibilities) within an hour. I raised a CSE and uploaded the document. After 2 hours, I call the CIC agent just to make sure they add the letter to my file and resume the processing. But the agent was very rude and told me that there was no need to attach the document unnecessarily without CIC raising such a ADR. He said that the officer will not review any documents that he/she did not ask for even though we send it via a CSE. Did I just happen to talk to a bad agent (or) is it like I violated the process by sending them documents without them asking ?

Hi, i am sorry to hear about ur bitter experience from the agent. The client centre agent was misguiding you, if u had followed his advise then u would be waiting for ages for review to get over. Being proactive is ur need, that fellow loses nothing at the end of the day. You can be confident that ur current effort will be worth it. U havent violated or abused the process so peace on that.

Secondly, u said " they gave me the letter (included my full name, title, salary, compensation/salary, address, signature and stamp of HR representative and job duties/responsibilities) within an hour." , is the total no. of weekly hours or per day X no. Of weekly working days specified on the recent letter that was provided to u?

Can you please elaborate?

According to my GCMS notes, the validity of my medicals is 27 July 2019. I have completed my 6 months mark. So, what would be the last date to appear in Canada to perform all the formalities?
27 July 2019 essentially.

If you won't receive PPR by that time they will either extend your medicals for one more year or request you to take second medical exam.

If you will receive PPR by that time you must land before 27 July 2019.

Hello,

I received CoPR yesterday and stamped passport within a week after submissiin
I am writing here for the people who have crossed 6 months. Kindly dnt lose hope.
First time i called cic on 29 jan; they told eligibilty under review.
Again i called on 11 feb to an agent he told me that elegibility recommended passed and security not started.
On 24th feb i again called and they told me to wait till 20th april. I was extremely hopeless and cant even move out of my home.
However,
On 28th feb i got ready for visa mail.
Stay positive. There might be some discrepencies in communication. Even i called agents twice a day...both had different response for my queries related to eligibility.
If u have uploaded all essential docs then ur PR is on the way for sure.

Hello ,
Kindly assist.
My mother got visitor visa in september 2016 for ten years
But she did not travel by till date.
She is planning to go next month.
Does she need to renew her visa or can there be some problem for not travelling in last 3 years at immigration.?

If the visa expiration date has not yet passed, and she is planning to enter as a visitor, there shouldn't be any problem.
