day 16... no copr. so upsetting and feeling quite foolish now, booked the flight for 23rd. Another 8 days and well have to rebook.
Everyone kept saying, including vfs that it would take from few to 10 days. Now i want to see anyone responsible for the advice they gave. It can actually screw people over. But yeah.. use your own critical thinking whenever receiving advice.

the given numbers say for pr related queries to use tracking. So we have sumbitted multiple requests to vfs, Delhi ircc and general cic webform.
So far no reply other than if they needed some specific detail like date of birth or passport number to check on it.
I dont suppose anything can really be sped up, but i would really want at least vfs not to give false information. People do count on it.

I have got passport submission request. I am confused regarding this annex A which people are talking about. Can you please tell me how to get that?
The annex A is usually toward the end of the passport request mail or email. Take a look and it should be there. It’s normally provided by IRCC.

It isn’t there. I have checked . In the documents requirement they haven’t mentioned annexe. It is just passport, photo and email printout.

Do you get ppr email? There is an attached file that is ANEX.
There won't be any attachments with Passport Request email. Scroll through your email to find out Annex-A section printed on your email body

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Although my PPR to COPR journey is just beginning, may I ask if someone here was in a similar situation. Below my enquiry:

Yesterday I received the PPR email (Thanks God!), and in the instructions given I have the following requests :

4. Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) $490CAD x 1, 2, 3. Payment instructions are found at …

5. The complete address in which you intend to live in Canada and specify your current country of residence.

Regarding #4, I am thinking about attaching the Official Receipt I got in my account when I payed.

But I am worried about #5 since I don´t have the specific address at the moment, even though I could write my uncle´s address. That been said, when I applied in the form I answered Burlington (ON) as the city where I intend to reside (and this is still the city where we plan to reside permanently), but my uncle lives in Toronto. Could it be an issue if I write my uncle´s address since at the moment that´s the only one specific I have?

Btw, our passports will be sent to Mexico VO.

Thanks in advance!

I have some questions about the next steps once you receive COPR, so if someone who has received it (preferably someone who was outside Canada when they did) could answer it, I'd appreciate it.

1. Does the COPR carry a deadline/date before which you are required to arrive in Canada? What are the consequences of not making that date?

2. The COPR seems to specify or suggest a port of entry location. Did you successfully enter at a location other than the one specified on your COPR?

3. When you landed in Canada, did the CBSA person ask for a Canadian address?

4. Did you arrive in Canada just to make the date specified in COPR and then leave the country with the intent of emigrating later on?
