I am a PA from the Philippines
Our application was received Dec. 21, 2018 in NS
We have not received anything yet.. No AOR.. Nothing as in Nothing yet...
My husband is in Ontario..
Is this still normal?

Have you tried checking ECAS with your payment receipt number and sponsors details?

And

Also tried using the sponsors details..

What date did they receive the application? Have you tried calling them to confirm receipt? It alleviated my fears during the horrible wait for AOR.

Edit: Checking the tracker, everyone's at least received AOR, and 82.14% have received SA...

Call them on +1 800 242 2100 if in Canada, or +1 613 944 4000 if outside Canada. The best days to call are Thursday/Friday.

We mailed our application Dec. 19, 2018
And they received it dec. 21, 2018
I will try calling.. Because it's been taking soooo long. Thank you.

Checked the GCkey yesterday and my husband passed the medical exam :). It still says our application is in progress in regards to the line for the background check, so it has not started yet.

Two things I'm unsure on:

On March 1st, we received the email notifying us that the application moved to Mississauga CPC from Sydney, NS, however there has been nothing since confirming it's there.

I'm also preparing myself that at some point during the background check, he may need to get an RCMP Check done since he has been in Canada for around 15 months with visitor status.

Here's our updated timeline, also in the Google doc:

- PA from United States
- Sponsor from Canada

Application Received: December 17th, 2018
AOR: February 16th, 2019
Sponsor Approval: February 22nd, 2019
Medical Request: February 22nd
Medical Test Taken: March 1st, 2019
Pre-AOR2: March 1st, 2019
Medical Passed: Either March 9th or March 11th, 2019 (I know the results were sent on Friday, the results on GCKey could have been updated on Friday or Monday, not sure)

Hope everyone is doing well and their applications are going smoothly!

It is a bit beyond our expected days of AOR1, which is around 60 day. But it is normal as it is still within IRCC's 3-month mark.

I have a question regarding use of representative and GC key. If my husband (the sponsor) used his info (name and email address) to connect his GC key account to my (the principal applicant) application, will I need to submit a form designating him as my representative if we are asked to upload documents and we do it through his account?
Yes, you need to submit a Representative form to designate him as your representative. But according to some posts, sometimes, this form is not needed.

If you're asking about simply uploading documents through GCKey, I really don't think you need a representative form. I am also the sponsor and connected the application to my GCKey account; as far as I can tell, they're not that concerned with which person is connected to GCKey -- if they ask for documents I expect there to just be an upload link in GCKey.

While I'm at I would add that he also doesn't need to be a representative to upload documents via the WebForm -- he just needs to enter your details if/when he submits anything and essentially "impersonate" you. :D

The main situation that you seem to really need the representative form is if he actually phones the IRCC and asks about details of your application. Other than that, you're fine.

Can the person managing the Google Sheet please freeze the top row and the first column, so you can know what you are looking at when scrolling? Thanks.

On ECAS, we suddenly see a new point 2 saying that they started processing the PA's application on March 11th - strangely, points 2-5 now refer to things that happened before March 11th, which doesn't really make sense in terms of the order of items in the list.

Hello, does anyone has any info on Singapore VO? How slow are they? My SA feb 26, Bio complete Feb 26. Got official file transfer notice March 5th. Wondering when should PA expect medical? Looks like almost everyone in the tracker got medical within this time frame.

The first two columns were already locked. I’ve also just locked the top row.
