Don't even get me started. Whenever someone asks me about my visa status I'm nearly ready to start throwing punches. Past the 7 month mark now, inland applicant and my visa has been expired for over a month. Bridging visa which apparently takes around 67 days to process is now on 91 days and hasn't been processed. Trapped in Canada on implied status so I can't leave the country. My profile has been stuck in eligibility review since September or October of last year and nothing has been done on it since. At this stage I almost wish they'd reject my application just so I can have this mind-numbing process over with.
Me too, pretty over it

Hey @tobs i had Indian Rs.665000 on my bank statement which i have attached with application. Is it because of that ( Currency conversion rate keeps changing). Should i need to do something about it or i need to wait. Its really frustating.

@Hochspitch are you also Irish? I thought I was the only one on here. I'm in an almost identical situation to what you describe except Outland.
I am indeed yeah. Have two fellow Irish friends I made over here and we all applied around the same time. One got it in 5 months, one in 7, and now I'll be approaching 8 at the end of this month. No apparent reason why any one would be easier to process than the other. All single applicants, same age with similar salary jobs and 2 years experience working in Canada now. Guess it's just (un)luck of the draw.

Hi there

My AOR is 31st July, 2019 too!
Eligibility review still in process.
No background checks started.
Meds passed.
Calling CIC - doesn’t help much as they tell the same thing which is already showing up in my online account.
I guess we all will get PPR email around same time of the month. I mean 31st July ones. So, keeping fingers cross till then.
And, yeah, you can apply for your GCMS notes meanwhile.
Aor 30 july, in review required for a stupid reason. They were not able to open my eca document hence i am suffering.

That’s so stupid. I think CIC should hire more efficient staff. They could have asked for your ECA, if, they are unable to open it. Review required just because they cannot open the ECA, sounds like procrastinating things!! Such a shame!

That’s good. Atleast your BG has started. My VO is also CPC-Ottawa.

That's the regulation. It's not released for 30 days after it's requested.
Probably info about your spouse if you didn't submit a consent form for him.
Hehe....he co-signed the GCMS request form. Or was he meant to fill a separate request form? ***just curious***

Hello everyone!
I just received a reply from CIC saying

" If you do not receive more information or a decision by March 27, 2019, we invite you to contact us again by using the IRCC Web form available on our website."

Anyone can suggest is it the deadline by which they will respond?? Anyone in the forum who has received any such time based deadline and then a good response? @tobs - any view on this sort of reply?

I too received the similar mail, but the date is March 18th. I will let me know by March 18 about the status. I heard from one of friends that they did not respond on the particular date, he is still waiting.
