I am assuming they want the medical done on my husband fairly fast. He does have Bipolar disorder, so I'm sure that is a factor.

Don't worry too much, as long as the treatment is not too costly ($19,965+), they can not use this to work against you.

Hey just wanted to let you guys know that the spouse is excluded from being medically inadmissible due to excessive demand. I should know as I have researched this as soon as it was decided I would be the one to move. I have a ton of medical issues that unfortunately stem from my autoimmune disease I was diagnosed with 12 years ago. The only thing that would possibly keep a spouse from being medically inadmissible is if they have a disease that would pose a threat to the community.

• refugees and their dependants
• protected persons

Just went to the agency. Really bad news. They haven’t sent our application last january 7. That’s why the rep can’t provide me received date cause she did not sent it. She just sent my application last March 7. This is really heart breaking going to sue them and demand for refund. It’s not easy to just wait for nothing.

Wow that is disgusting. I am so sorry. I would absolutely report them to IRCC and sue them. Absolutely leave unfavorable reviews on this office/person wherever you can. How awful. That timing is precious and every day counts. Unbelievable.

Just received AOR last night (March 8th) Application was received in Sydney, NS on January 25th. Outland spousal sponsorship. I am the sponsor. My husband is living in Dominican Republic.

According to my understanding what AOR2 is, correct me if I'm wrong AOR2 is file transferred from Sydney to Mississauga or Local Visa Office. If that is true, then I think people have received such email in January forum too.

AOR2 - is acknowledgement of reception by Visa Office. In my case it was 2 weeks between file transferred and file recieved (AOR2)

I will understand if u will sue them, the waiting itself is frustrating all the more knowing that u are waiting for nothing, 2 months have just went to waste of time and energy. I can imagine your reaction the moment u knew it wasn't even sent to IRCC, they should give u full refund and more

Oh my. That's really unethical on agency part. Can imagine your situation. I'd request you to report to the Immigration Consultant regulatory body so you can help someone else face the similar situation. You also have an option to report to IRCC.

That is really upsetting to hear. I feel bad for you and anyone else who went through this. Do you mind if I ask which immigration agency was this? And which country?
