Urgent please help!! work experience clash

Hi,
I'm currently working in my current company for 2.5 years for which I can get all the required documents. I've worked in another company before in the same role for 7 months. Adding both I get 3 years.
However, I could not properly relieve from my old company. But I've managed to get the Skill Set letter from my old employer.

Now the problem is the last day in my first company according to the skill set letter is after my joining in the second company.

Will this cause an issue ? If so, Is there any other way to solve it ? Do the visa people call all my old employers and verify ?

They will probably require a lawyer notarized letter from several of your old co-workers at the very least. Old pay stubs are always good proof as are bank records. They will not accept your word for it. What is a Skill Set letter? This is Canada not the US. We don't have skill set letters we have NOC occupation codes. Remember we are totally different countries. With totally different systems (although) they are linked.

Skill set letter is the letter which tells my roles and responsibilities in the organisation. It comes in the company letter head alone with my designation, join date and last working day. I guess this is the most important letter that’s needed by them.

My last date in my old company is after the joining date in my current company. Are you sure that won't be a problem ?
Should I mention them about this in a separate letter ?

OK Arun437, now I know what you mean. Actually, I just called them something different. The words "skill set" are more descriptive actually.
