No. This info you can get when you log into your account on IRCC under full status section.

The status bar is no help at all. It just shows remaining time which added up to 12 months :|

How come they haven't started the BGC yet? Looks like your application is complete otherwise. Have you got your visa?
Good luck and all the best.

Got pre arrival on feb 15
Waiting for dm and ppr
How long will it take ?
Any idea ... ?
It really depends on your background checks,

They dont start everyone's BGC early in the process. It's just random. I got additional document request few weeks ago which I have replied to recently. Lets see what happens next. If they are satisfied then pre-arrival. If not then probably interview. I'm 2nd marriage case so the delay was 'expected'.

What are they checking? Do you have any idea???
My background checks are going on since May 2018 and I am October 2017 applicant. Can’t say how much time they will take from 1 day to one year, it could be anything

ALHAMDOLILAH we landed in VANCOUVER at the end of Jan 2019, can anyone tell when my wife will get her PR card.

Should we apply, or her first PR card will come automatically on the Canadian address which she gave at the airport to immigration officer

Hello Everyone! I’m May 2018 applicant , no updates since file transfer to LVO in July.

I have a representative but he doesn’t reply to my inquires properly etc , I’m thinking of getting rid of him.
Do you think it will impact my file in any way? Also , do you think i will be able to get paperwork back from him ?
I’m a bit hesitant to do this but I feel I can handle the process from here onwards , thanks to this forum and other helpful pages.

If your wife applied for PR card at the airport, she should get it in the mail. Just be patient because it may take a few months.

It won’t impact your file in any way, you can remove representation at any time. And won’t they have sent your paperwork to the CPC? I don’t think you can request anything back until the sponsorship process is complete.

You get dm after background checks are done.
So to confirm, DM happens after background check is complete? Or can we get DM before BCG starts?
