Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Inland applicant, got copr and planning to do flagpole for next step.

Should i go for this or should I just book an appointment at CIC office (weeks to months waiting time).

If flagpole, what are the documents i should bring? And, do i need US tourist visa or I can flagpole without US tourist visa?

you better flagpole...

bring corp, passports, pof

you dont need US visa, you just say you need to flagpole because you need to become a canadian PR

please do some research read other threads how people did flagpole at different places for example

Many border posts have restrictions on how many people they take in and days of the week etc. Check beforehand.

I am planning to go to 1000 islands this weekend but I have some questions before going there. Is there any particular time we should go there for flag poling? I couldn’t get those timings for this place. How was your experience? You already mentioned it’s a smooth process but I am reading lots of reviews about Niagara border crossing and kind of confused whether to drive to thousand islands or not. At what time did you go there ?

Dude first 1000 islands is not Niagra falls.. Thats called peace bridge...
now 1000 islands is easy peasy.... its majorly a commercial stop so not too much civilian rush there... I went on Saturday arn 11 am i think...it was empty as anythin... Major time was taken but Americans to issue one yellow chit... on Canada side... naaa we just and Agent did her magic

Hi, I am a little confused by this. I thought you get the CoPR at the landing interview? Is the CoPR issued before?

You get the CoPR before. That’s the document you take with you to the border crossing. Once CBSA signs the CoPr, you are officially a PR.

Hi,
Thank you for your comment on the post.

My idea for inland applicants for spousal sponsorship is that you do your medicals, get background check done and then get AIP (Approved in Principle), SA (Sponsor Approval) and DM (Decision Made). You then book a landing interview at a CIC office inside Canada and you get the CoPR at the interview.

Now, the question is, if there is an option to flagpole, isnt the CoPR supposed to come to me before the landing interview? I just wanted to find out at what stage will the CoPR be issued and if it will be electronic or in the mail?

Thank you

Inland spousal applicants can't flagpole. You will be called for a landing interview and will receive your COPR at the interview.

Yeah, Inland Sponsorship is entirely different. In Express Entry, you get the CoPR prior to landing.
