Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Hi guys, I had a few questions. I applied for my PGWP through a paper application mailed on Jan 22nd, 2019. I haven't heard anything from them. Not even that they received my application. I tried linking it online but it said no application found so I am really worried now. Has anyone else experienced this? And after how long does immigration notify people after getting their applications? I've tried calling them but it's of no use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I dont think u get a receiving confirmation on paper applications unless a decision has been made, but i may be wrong. You should have just applied online, i heard paper applications take longer.

Applied on December 28th, just they updated the background check column as in progress. Is that means that they started processing?

than...will you wait for the work permit to apply for her visa? How about you attached the confirmation receipt of pgwp?

i haven't applied for it yet, im gonna wait for my work permit to apply for her visitor visa

It is kind of strange, few of them who applied in Jan, 2019 have already received their pgwp but a few others who applied in Dec, 2018 are still waiting for their pgwp. Not sure how they are processing the application queue.

Are you sure? The processing time is 83 days.

If we look at the previous posts, few who applied in Jan received it and a few who applied in dec are still waiting.

Just got my PGWP approval!
Applied on Dec.12, 2018,
Review of Eligibility on Mar. 4th, 2019
Approved on Mar. 5th, 2019.

It seems the processing time published on the CIC website is valid.
