Hello everyone, raised CSE previous friday to know the visa office and eligibility status and got the following response today:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

Furthermore, since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India, we invite you to contact them too in order to:

  • Report important changes,
  • Provide documents,
  • Add a representative or designated individual on file,
  • Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or
  • Enquire on an outcome of a request.
You will find the complete list of visa offices on ourwebsite.

Once you select the office you wish to contact, you will be presented with the different contact options.

So this means that my application is being processed at NDVO and eligibility has not stadted yet??
Seems like NDVO will do your BG check :) Seems normal :)

Did u get any update on your application. I know one AOR 18th Nov applicant, whose application is being processed at NDVO, moved to IP2!
My application is not touched as per the agent I spoke to last week. It's been pushed to June 11 as completion date.

I don't think the content of that is concrete or based on evidence of how the process work unfortunately.
These kind of things that make people think there are signs and clues everywhere to determine at what stage they're application is at, cause more confusion than clarity.
Every application is different, each processing office is different, and when people think there is a one and same system for all, they tend to panic if something seems off and doesn't go according to some made-up system, and literally lose sleep over it.

I think such made up systems should be ignored, and applicants should stop reading between lines that don't exist.

We have no way of knowing what Ghose updates mean, and so-called IP1 and IP2 give us no clue in knowing what it really means.
