I just received the letter requesting my fingerprints, and Background Check changed to in processing. :)
Even though I still didn't receive medical request....
I am Quebec inland.

Hi Gabe,
I did a small search on the forum for Inland apps from last year and based on that, I got my own a small reference about the time. (Don't take this as a rule. I only tried to build a time reference for our app.)

Really fast response - about 30 days after BG started
Fast/Medium time response - about 60 to 70 days
Normal/Average - 3 to 5 months
Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering if you guys know this/have an idea:
If I decide to change jobs now, before I'm approved as a Sponsor, would that affect my eligibility for approval in any way?

Thanks!

Does "We started processing your application on"under GCKEY "Sponsorship Application Status" means anything other than AOR and application started?

Also,
I just got this email today.
---------
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada / Immigration Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada <IRCC.COMMDoNotReply-NePasRepondreCOMM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>

Starting March 6, you will see a progress bar for your online application. The progress bar shows the time elapsed since we received your application. It will also give you an estimated completion date based on our latest estimated processing times.

We will let you know by e-mail when the progress bar is available for your application.

I received my OWP in the mail last Friday.

It took only 3 days to get to me by mail once approved.

As far as restrictions go, I don't have the healthcare/education restriction that others have talked about. Just the other 2. Not sure if it is because I had medical exam done prior to OWP being approved, or the fact that I won't be seeking employment in the healthcare/education fields.

Hey guys, I hope this is not a dumb question and someone can help me. Now that the OWP is approved, can I just bring it as a travel document? Can I use it like a visa or I need to apply for a new visa? I'm a little confused. I currently hold a tourist visa that will expire on the 26th of this month.

Mine doesn’t have restrictions about healthcare /education either but I thought it’s because I put my intended work for health care or child education. What did you guys put in that section ?

Work permit is not a travel document. I think you need apply for a visa renewal/extension
