The last communication I received from CIC states that if there is no further communication or decision on my application by 21st March 2019, I can contact them again. Today with BGC started status in GCKey gave me this positive vibe. I have applied for my second GCMS notes and should get it in couple of weeks.

Hello everyone.. i am new to this forum. I had a question if aby of you could helpme with the same.
My file has been transferred to ndvo since dec2018 and i sent them an email enquiring about my status update. The reply i got was :
your file is pending officer’s review.
Once the review is complete, our office will contact you with further instructions.
Can you explain the meaning of this reply.
Im aug18 applicant, medical passed, bgc not started yet

I don't think it had any impact till date. When i raised my last case specific inquiry with CIC, I raised my concern about reuniting with my daughter.
My friend's application for sponsorship is just for wife and his application is already processed and visa issued.
