Hello there,

I have applied for parents and grandparents category for my parents ( since 2017). Recently, received medical instructions but they have sent for the principal applicant, not for the spouse. The only IME number is for the principal applicant. I did email to the relative London visa office, but no reply yet.

Is there any upfront medical possibility? for spouse or what to do now

Please advise what to do as we have only 30 days for medical

I can give you London email (I've got IME request from them), but i cant give you a guarantee they respond back
You must have Ime # for each parent

PCC , RPRF and Medical Requested on : February 18th, 2019
PCC , RPRF and Medical Submitted on : March 1st, 2019
Processing Office : Ottawa

Anybody know estimated timelines of Passport Request after submission of Medical, RPRF and PCC ?
first check if IME received = passed in E-case

@YULIA-2016 You may have answer for this. I have applied to sponsor my parents in 2018 second round and waiting for SA Approval. I have been married in 2015 and sponsored a spouse that time. The thing is to meet the LICO I have included my Spouse as Co signer in the application . I think the ban to sponsor someone is only if you sponsor another spouse if you have been sponsored in last 5yrs under spouse, common law. Form 1344, Point 5 under sponsor eligibility. I am worried now. Will it be a issue in sponsor eligibility ?
hmmm, i dont remember if it was in 2018 package

Hello, I have been decision made on SA on February 12, but till now I still did not receive any mail or email regarding the correspondence. I need it for Quebec CSQ application. I called them they said till March 12 I do not get it call again. That is normal? Thank you.

2018 Parents sponsors...I am assuming people in this group are the ones that have sponsored their parents in 2018 only.
I am a resident of Mississauga and have applied for my parents in 2018. The application was accepted by cic in May 7, 2018.
Can you guys please update on if anyone in my region had applied as well in 2018 and if they have gotten their parent's medical request, or any other update since 2018.
Thanks!

Just to be clear, they sent only ONE IME form? If that’s the case, emailing London LVO is the right approach. You can also call CIC call center to explain things and they can send internal messages and notes to their colleagues in London.

Upfront medical is not your call. IRCC must make that call for you.
Yes, Only one IME form. I have already emailed london visa office, but no reply yet. Also called Call Center CIC Canada, but they said they can not view the application as its in London Visa office.
Is it usual to send IME for one applicant and not for other at one time, or it is a thing to be worried?

Thanks for the reply. Can I email them directly? Are they able to issue another IME form for mother?. Does it happen normally or unusually i.e issuance of one IME number to one applicant but not to others?

Curious can't sponsor parents if you just sponsored somebody? Like last year.?
As long as you meet the minimum necessary income for last three consecutive years, shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind you need to add the number of people you have previously sponsored, to your family size.

Hi, I've been following this forum for a while and it's good to see the information everyone shared. I just want to share my timeline and see if any prediction for DM.

Application received may 3, 2018
Sponsorship approved July 18, 2018
Medical and PCC/military record requested sept 8, 2018
Pre approval letter Nov 18, 2018
Medical received Dec 21, 2018
Waiting for DM.....

My friend's dad has the exact timeline as my dad except his medical received in January and he didn't serve in military, he just got DM yesterday.

My dad served in military 40 years ago and I know this is causing the delay in background check, which says in process now. But honestly his regiment was long gone and all the officers died of old age, what else possibly can they check?

His sponsorships been processed relatively quickly so I wouldn't worry.

Hello everyone

I would like to ask the experts, considering someone holds a PR, can this person sponsor his brother?
Is there any way?

NB he is 30 years old
Thank you

Not if their parents are alive or they are married or have children.
