Dear Members,

As summer holidays are coming up, my daughter wanted to visit Canada to meet her cousins. I will be travelling to US so thought of dropping her to Canada and picking her on the way back. I am a bit confused how to apply for her visa.

* Do I need to create an account for her? Or
* Can I apply from my account? If yes then how do I apply
* Do i need to answer the questionnaire as her or myself?

I am confused as hell. Please advise.

How old is your daughter?

1. Apply from your online account on her behalf.

2. She would need a Canadian guardian for her stay.

3. You need to include copies of your passport and 24/7 contact information, including in the US + similar documents from your spouse/her non-accompanying parent along with an authorization letter to allow her to travel abroad with you

4. Your UCI number and/or TRV + evidence of your finances to pay for her visit et al

Thanks Bryanna,

Really helpful, plans are changing already, thanks to coming summer holidays :(

Now wife and other kid also want to accompany. Wife is applying for a masters program in Canada so she wants to visit once to universities we applied for before taking a decision on university.

So now question is can all apply from my account or wife needs to create her own account. She has no travel history prior to this so I am sure that will be a negative. I do have extensive travel history to US, UK

Though this is a subjective question but do you think a rejection will have any negative effect on her Student Visa application?

Please advice.
