Visitor Visa expired

Hi,

I want to know if I can report someone who is a visitor here in Canada that has an expired Visa for 2 years now and his extension is expiring tomorrow (Feb 28 2019). Can i report him for Removal in Canada or Deportation? If so, what is the process? Will the Authorities take him right away and send to his country? Please respond to this. Its really important and i want to know things and my rights before i make actions. Thank you.

You do not have the right to have him deported. No - authorities will not take him right away and send him to his country.

If he has a valid extension and his extension expires tomorrow, then he is still legally in Canada as of tomorrow and IRCC certainly won't take any action against him immediately. If you report him once he is out of status, it will take a while for IRCC to review his situation and decide if they are going to do anything about it.

He can still restore up to 90 days after expiration so they wont do anything now.
Dont think they chase people down usually anyway.
