Im sponsoring my husband, he’s from Hungary and it’s here in Canada with a work visa.
Our application got denied last week, because my husband ex didn’t want to take their daughter to get the medical exam.
She has sole custody, my husband agreed at court to support her and her eldest 22 years old sister.
After 5 years of spending on lawyers, getting documents from Hungary to translate and notarize this is a shocking blow ti us.
My sister in law lives in Budapest, she has been told that in order to get the documents he has to go in person, which he cannot do, he cannot leave the country.

Recommend you post to the Family Sponsorship section of the forum. You should include information about what documents you included to prove the medical could not be done.

Thanks
The court only posted the amount of money he is to pay monthly.
The times we had asked the Budapest court to send us more documents they don’t answer.

It makes sense he was refused in that case. You must prove sole custody and demonstrate the medical wasn't possible to obtain.
