Hi everyone,

For proof of Canadian education, has anybody submitted only the graduation certificate without anything else (transcript, etc)?

I just realized submitting the transcript probably would have been a good idea, but didn't do so in the beginning. I definitely want to find out if this is a "must" or just a "should". I.e., without the transcript, would my profile be rejected for lack of supporting information?

Thanks all!

I have never been to any other country. Going by your logic shouldn't I get at least some update? I am still in IP1.
But I strongly believe family people are preferred somehow. Applicants with more than 3 or more primary + dependents have obtained PPR relatively early.
From immitracker, those who received PPR faster mentioned they had no travel history. Some of them had families too.

So I guess, it kind of work both ways

Yeah, it's just shooting from the hip. There's no exact science when it comes to IRCC; there are likely as many people without a travel history who receive a PPR quickly as there are that don't.

Also UK citizen, also AOR 19th here and only got my Biometrics request letter today.

When did you do your medical? Would be interested in keeping track of yoir progress to compare as we go though I'm EE rather than CEC.

I got the letter about job seeking same day as AOR also, incidentally.
That's good to know you only just got your biometrics letter. I did my medical early November before I even got my ITA as I was trying to get ahead with the things I needed for my application. MEP was only passed on 31st January.

I did call IRCC yesterday and they said the letter for Biometrics had been generated in my account but not sent yet. They also told me my application is with the CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia and criminality is being worked on. Security and eligibility not yet started.

  1. There's nothing like caller ID block part..

Just install hangout app + hangout dialer app..

You'll be able to see dial pad after installing both apps..

    Dial +1-613-944-4000 then press 1..1..1

    You'll be in immigration section

    Then press 2..1..1..0

You'll be put in queue and wait for that duration and agent will pick up the call..

He or she will ask you what info you need..

Ask them about Visa office - medical status - eligibility status - criminality & security status..

Agent will ask your application number & few questions like date of birth, address etc.. give it and wait till he or she checks the application..

Detailed answer will be provided to you.

PS: This depends on agent as well
There are some time restrictions as well right? Like we have to call between 8AM and 4PM Canadian Time?

You've been in a 'Faux-IP2', which is what I call an IP2 long before its time. The traditional transition from IP1 to IP2 to ghost update to PPR still holds but in a modified way due to candidates now requiring biometrics, as well as certain candidates not paying their RPRF upfront, or being a CEC-Inland candidate, for example. You will see a series of 'ghost updates' instead following your MEP; the first will signify your IP1, the second will signify your real IP2, and the third will be your true ghost update, following which you are likely to receive your PPR.

Hello, some of us have been in IP2 since AOR. What does this mean for us after MEP (yet to get that though)?

My upfront medical was on December 5, 2018. Medical furtherance received on December 23 via e-mail and Sputum samples given on 24-25-26 December 2018. Next X-Ray is on March 5, 2019.

Good luck to you with your medical.
Hmm... I don't why but my process is a bit different. Upfront on 17 December, I didn't receive any mail but my PP called me to give sputum and I did on 20-21-22 December. PP told me to wait 3 months for sputum results. She didn't even tell anything about another xray date. She was using e medical. I don't understand why the procedure is different between us.
