My OWP approved on GC key! Very happy that Nov applications started moving...

Hi, haven’t done my medicals yet. I’ve my appointment on Feb 6th in Halifax, NS. It’s going to cost me $320(lab work+ docter fee).

Hi, How did you link your app online? I have tried a few times but is unable to find my app. Can you help me, please?

I checked on my CiC and all it says is

1. We received your application to sponsor ___________ on November 27, 2018.
   Dependents listed on the application are: ________
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 17, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on January 16, 2019.

Does it say anything else like background check has not started yet or we do not need your fingerprints blah blah etc.? Because what you sent seems like you are logging into ECAS not MyCIC

Hey all - my husband had his medical done last week. We are still being patient on his OWP. Question: his initial visitors visa was for 6 months. There's nothing in his passport other than the date he entered stamped on it. Do we need to apply to extend his visa??? Does the CIC website ever work???

If you applied before his 6 months ran out then no, he's on implied status until his OWP comes through

Application to gckey and ecas do we still receive emails about our application or its all on gckey and ecas?

I am having trouble linking my application to my account. I have tried more than 20 times and i'm not sure why it's not working. I've read and tried all sorts of tips, including leaving a space instead of the city of birth. When i do that, i'm bumped back for an incomplete field. I have listed 2 as the number of applicants. The location the applicant plans to live is our current city. What could i be doing wrong?
