Married my wife is my dependent.
Got my MR very late (jan10/19) compared to most I people with similar timeline.
Also my file was transferred to a local office in middle 2018 for further assessment and that is probably why I got it faster
Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Wow, I think you were unlucky for your further investigation assessment, but ultimately made you as a luckiest person you are now. I was exactly in the same boat as you were. AOR FEB 2018, AINP-SRS PGWP, Married with a child. But I have not received any update after pre arrival letter in June 2018. Anyway, one more time, congratulations. I think it is at least good news to everyone too. Have a great day, menezes!

Lots of Jan-Feb 2018 inland applicants got their MR earlier, however we are all still waiting for the coveted COPR/PPR.
Myself and a bunch others have got our medicals passed and pre-arrival letters more than 5-6 months ago, and still no COPR/PPR (I am single AINP SRS-PGW applicant).
That shows indeed that early MR does not necessarily mean early PR.

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your update. It certainly gives us all some hope during this strenuous, long journey. Every bit helps.

Pre-arrival letter Jan 11/19
MR Passed jan 25/19
COPR JAN 30/19
I just received a letter saying that the processing of my application is now complete (COPR). Telling me that IRCC is going to contact me shortly to arrange an appointment for landing (?)

Does that mean that my application is approved?!
why not the PPR as I am inland applicant?
Have you ever got any phone call before you getting the corp?

The redacted is SEC (PS-SEC) which is public safety security.
I'm assuming you have a due date on it of January 10, 2019?

Honestly, I do not understand a cause of your level of frustration. You still have 5 months to a official deadline. I don't understand why everybody rushing so much. We all are I Canada, all have work permits all live in provinces we've chosen for life. Just do not refresh CIC website every 5 minutes and enjoy your time :)

Bromingo! I hate about the system they created, 1. Express Entry and 2. Paper based. When i applied my application then it used to say ETA is 10-12 months. and Express use to say 6 months. with in 14 months ETA goes up to paper application 19 months .... (9 months - a baby can be manufacture in certain time.) however for express entry it never goes up than 6 months.

I do suggest to CIC if they create a different pool for those people they have certain degrees from their motherlands then i will wipe off lot of rush from paper based side. For a diploma holder it is not possible to achieve point for express entry so easy and cic comparing them with degree holders etc etc.

As you said we all have work permits bla bla .. bro you do not understand everyone treat you like a 2nd class in your friend circle even in relatives, and 14 - 19 months are not a small period of time. Hopefully you understand this too. Cheers!
