I've paid yesterday. I didn't want to pay in advance because I read somewhere that sometimes getting the RPRF means the application is almost done, but I've received it so early I'm not sure.
This is exactly why I did not pay RPRF upfront.

Even I read in few places that RPRF request means your application is almost 80% confirmed :) In majority cases, RPRF is triggered once you pass eligibility.

Sadly, in my case its going to be 3 months and still no RPRF request :(

Hope you get yours soon, mate. It does take long. There are a few lucky people receiving ppr with less than 3 months but that's the exception. Even with RPRF request I still think it'll take some time as I'm still IP1 (I'm not sure how accurate IP 1-2 is anymore though).

MEP - 30th Jan 2019 (Didn't receive any email - Had to check directly on the portal)

Kindly suggest what would be the next step and how long it may take.
BGC - Status changed from not required to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"

Just praying I get RPRF request soon. because then I will be relieved and won't bother when I get my PPR :)

From what I know I think Ip1 and IP2 are irrelevant. Some get their PPR even without going to IP2

Please correct your MEP to 29 Jan 2019 based on the time it came through in Canada. And then update this on MyImmiTracker.com.

Congratulations, all, that have received their MEP. Please setup a profile on MyImmiTracker.com and add your details, if you haven't done so already.

I think there's been a lot of hoo-ha about RPRF and the link it might have with an imminent PPR. I have not seen evidence of such a link, and no true correlation can be drawn based on the data on MyImmiTracker and in these forums since Jan 2018 AORs (that's how far back I've been reading). An equal number of people will say that not having paid the RPRF upfront slowed down their application by a few weeks because it added a step that could not automatically be bypassed. I know that we all want something - some development - to help with anxiety and the wait, but IRCC has become less and less predictable and a lot of the old assumptions may not hold true as the organization prepares to process record numbers of candidates this year. So, just sit tight and enjoy the ride. Log in to your account often and keep checking for updates!

I would advise patience for a little while longer. According to MyImmiTracker, Dec 8 AORs were processed around Jan 18, and there is at least one other Dec 8 AOR that received their MEP on Jan 28. Passing medicals depends on your specific profile as well as the number of applicants and their profiles. IRCC does not process the medicals; they simply act on what Health Canada recommends per candidate. It is not clear whether you are inland or outland - inland applicants usually have a much more accelerated MEP timeline than outland candidates.

do you suggest me to call ircc as i have not passed my medical yet. AOR 8 dec, UCI changed on dated 16 jan. PNP Inland

Guys, one more note: please set up a signature so we don't have to ask you too many follow-up questions to understand your profile. It can be one of the reasons why people aren't replying to your questions because of the amount of back and forth it will require to do so properly.
