Yeah. They said background check is finished and they are waiting for test to be scheduled.
Maybe its taking time cause i am in Mississauga. My friends who applied later than us got the invite for hamilton. so it could be due to test center overload.

Just got off a call with the call centre. So background is complete and the outcome is positive. The agent said that the file has been transferred to the Mississauga office and that they will set a date for the test. Also he mentioned that the online status will be updated as soon as there is any movement. So i guess the Eat-Sleep-Check Status-Repeat cycle is on for now.

82 days and counting and no update since test. I'm really hoping they aren't doing extra background checks just because of the current political situation with China. My husband has had several extensive background checks in the past 2 years and not a single one of them took longer than a week to complete, until this.

We still aren't too worried yet.

Hello everybody,

Does anyone know how long is taking from DM/Test to Oath in Calgary? I passed my test on Nov 29, and from what I can see in the spreadsheet, they are already booking ceremonies for March 15. This would be 4 months after my test and I was told they would call me in 2-3 months.

Thank you!

I passed my test on Nov 15 and still waiting. I think it is some how linked to App received date as well. When was your app received?

I passed the test on 27 of nov and DM the very next day and was told exactly the same thing that oath will be within 2-3 months and yesterday marked exactly two months but nothing as of yet so hoping February will bring some good news since it’s also my birth month lol
