Has anyone applied for PGWP in December 2018 or January 2019.
I applied it on 3 January, 2018.

i applied today, let me know if there is any update for you

The fact that the processing time is so long has effectively made this PGWP thing a one shot attempt. Applying now means most likely by time a decision is made your study permit is expired and if for any reason you don’t get it , you’re in hot water

In case anyone does not get approved, He still get 90 more days to apply once again and for last. In those 90 days one will have to restore the status as a student and then apply for PGWP.

I'm going to apply for my work permit tomorrow morning. Can anyone guide me regarding biometrics? I've uploaded my documents on GC key and till now there was no option of biometrics. I need to get them done, how do I order them?

That becomes at the mercy of the officer. I’ve read stories here where the officer refuses subsequent application since it’s 90 days past when the official completion was issued . Also seen people granted though but restoration is a serious roll of the dice

It does not matter if your study permit is expired or its past 90 days of completion. When it get refused you have 90 days to leave canada and you then have those 3 month to do whatever you can.

is it asking for biometrics ? I know IRCC plans on starting biometrics for people inside canada this year but I don’t think that has started yet
It did not ask for me, so I applied without biometrics. Also, in my previous posts, I quoted from cic that it is not mandatory(within canada) and cic will contact us if it is required.
