Hey guys,
I am filling cit0002 form. Please advise what to fill in section 9(c). I got my PR card in canada and only went outside canada for vacation, should i fill No for that section

Actually I discovered today that Calgary's April applicants are getting their oath to take place on Feb-22 which means you may wait another two months before getting the invitation which is really frustrating since the waiting time till AOR and then till IP and then the oath letter is double the actual processing time

Yeah it’s a little bit ridiculous.
I applied early July, and got DM status on December 11. Now I have to wait another 3 months before the actual ceremony? Kinda nuts actually. I really hope it’s sooner.

Just got back from from the test/interview in Calgary. I didn't read the Discover Canada book end to end, I mainly took the Vsoul and Richmond Library exam over and over again till I consistently got 100%. I scored 19/20 on the exam but to be honest only about 10-12 of those questions came from the practice tests. Some of the questions were reworded but basically asking the same things.

After the exam I went in for the interview. The guy before me passed the test, but his security checks had not come in yet so was told to keep an eye out for mail/email from CIC. I was worried that would also be the case with me. The lady interviewer asks me for my PR Card, Drivers License Passports, asks about my current occupation. Asks about family in Canada. Asks about where I've traveled. Then she tells me that all my documents seem to be in order and that I am qualified to be a citizen and that I should expect an invitation for oath ceremony in the next 2-3 months. Interview took under 5 mins.

My test was at 10:15, the officer asked to wait till 9:45 to get in (It was busy day with lots of tests slots). They verified us and let us in the waiting area. After some time, an officer asked us to line up. She checked us again and let us in test room. After everyone is checked in, Officer closed the test room and gave us instruction and hand over the question booklet. She also asked us to go to wait area once done.

Once in wait area, we were called for an interview. He asked for identification and few questions. Overall it took 5-7 mins for the interview for us. For few it was more (depend on case to case).

I found the link of this blog https://livelearn.ca/article/about-canada/taking-your-citizenship-test-5-tips-to-ace-it/ in one of the threads here. I tried all the practice test sites mentioned in item 5 in the said blog.

I read the book probably 3-4 times. First time was when I received the AOR, then I read it again within the 2 weeks prior to my test dates. I answered the practice tests in between reads. I found some questions/answers in the practice tests confusing, so I just referred to the book/study guide. I also made my own flash cards, and re-read the book the night before my exam date.

I was so nervous during the waiting time but I found the test easy, coming from someone who is challenged when it comes to history ( names and dates). Good luck

Thank You @tala101. We asked for expedited processing as my son is waiting to join the Royal Canadian Air Force but the only hurdle is he is not a citizen. We went to the RCAF base and spent 3 hours filling out all the forms - at the end of which - we were told he was not eligible as we were not citizens. (Damn!) and they will keep the forms until we gain citizenship. I am hoping this gets done before the next intake in March but so far there is no response from IRCC except a mail acknowledging the request and stating that they verified his details and will let us know if there are any questions or there are updates on the request. Its been 3 weeks from the request now. Time seems to have stood still. I know its not much time but just letting you all know my state of mind.

At the time of my test interview, i was told that my security clearnace was still pending however 3 days later my status changed to decision made. Does that mean am through and eligible to receive the invitation for the oath ?
