Hi All,

I am getting married and wanted to file Canada PR with my spouse, but wanted to know will there be any documents stating about our relationship? I am hiding from my parents and marrying.

Yes - you will need to include evidence of your relationship such as marriage certificate, etc.

If you go through the sponsorship evaluation form you'll find that they want to know if your relatives (including parents) know of your relationship (if not why), if any of them attended the wedding (if not why). It is not a requirement for your parents/relatives to attend the wedding (or know about it), but you still need to be prepared to answer such question.

The application will take approximately a year to process.

If he wants to come sooner for a visit, he would need to apply for a TRV. However refusal rates for TRVs quite high in these situations since IRCC knows the spouse has plans to remain in Canada long term and isn't really a temporary visitor.

Problem is i sent his file to cic i forgot to sent gis passport size photo with it ... are they gonna return the file

Hi,

I have applied for PR express entry. I am working in Australia and my wife will travel for work with my child to canada for work. I wanted to know if it was possible to include them but say will not accompany me. And just include a letter saying they have done their medical exam with copy of their passports?

Thanks
