Also, is it normal to have the top right hand corner of GCMS notes with an overlay that says "PROTECTED 'B'"? I feel like I hear most other people having numbers there.
It's in almost everyone's

Fill in your details, click "next", you'll see a prompt.
Thannkss. Have heard crazy stories about Montreal. Lets see how this journey goes. Already hitting 6 month mark since July 16th, and havent seen any changes (apart from Medicals Passed on 2nd August). Good thing ordered GCMS notes and saw that there's a Review Required. sighs

Hi Guys,

I hope you can shed light on my case.

Last November 2018, I raised a CSE and they told me that my application is being processed in Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, then last week I raised a CSE again asking for an uodate with my application and now they told me my application was transfered in Montreal.

Here's the response after raosing CSE last week.

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your permanent residence application under the Federal Skilled Workers Class.

  • The initial assessment to ensure your application is complete has been finalized on October 4, 2018. Following this assessment, your application was transferred to the IRCC Montreal office. The office will contact you if they need other documents from you.
  • The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you and your family members if applicable meet theeligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.

What is your AOR? If your AOR was close to the R10 check (Oct 4) you can expect something after 6 months which is april. They say they do transfer for load balancing : i like to think they do transfer to delay our applications and test our patience:( . I checked your other post. If you are July candidate you can expect something in a month, but since you are inland i am not sure

Hi,

My AOR was July 19, 2018.

I haven't heard anything from them since passing my Medical last August. I am in land applicant.

I am waiting for my GCM Notes, just to have an idea on what isnreally happening with my application.

For some reason Montreal has been very slow for inland candidates so don't worry about the no progress. It is very stressful when the file sits idle for so long, I cannot deny that

Sadly there has been no trend with the inland candidates. For Outland candidates they seem to follow 5.5 month + timeline to initiate anything and it is complete silence till then. It’s a good thing you ordered notes and they give you more information on the eligibility.

For any new folks who have joined or will join this thread. Please order GCMS notes by 120 day mark at least if your file is in Montreal. Montreal’s analysts tend to put work experience in review required even if one detail is a little off from what they expect. From what we have seen on the thread taking proactive action can ensure there is no delay in your file.

People on WhatsApp group please post on WA group as well that any August and September candidates who haven’t ordered notes yet may do so now. It may help them even if they think their documents are perfect.

@phaneeswar130 @tuitui509 Folks.. Hoping you are able to clarify this part..

Do we have to enter in tuesday/wedneaday/Thursday Window only..?

What if we plan for weekend , an difference in process in that case.. ?
not that I am aware of, only flag polling was restricted on certain days at certain port never heard of any restrictions on landing. If I were you I would go on the landing specific thread to ask that question.
