Anyone else here did not pay RPRF during Submission?

My status has been IP1 since Nov 9

AOR: Sep 30
MEP: Oct 29
ADR to pay RPRF: Nov 9 (PAID on the same day)

When I got the RPRF request in Nov, I was delighted that there has been some progress and the request meant that at least eligibility was recommended passed.

It has been almost 2 months since and there has been absolute silence for the last 31 days, not even a ghost update.

Is the RPRF request sent before or after your eligibility check is completed? Or at what stage is the RPRF requested if not paid earlier?

Your best option is to order GCMS notes or try your luck on call/CSE.

Med's Done....
September 11th
Bump !
Can anyone help me ?
Hey guys, I am hoping that candidates who have similar timeline as mine can offer some clarification regarding my PR application status. I am an applicant (FSW) currently residing in the US.

My timeline:

AOR - September 24, 2018
Meds Passed - October 24, 2018
IP2/ We are processing your background verification - November 28
Documents - We do not require additional documents

And there hasn't been any update since then. On December 31st, 2018 I called CIC and the lady who answered my call said that my Eligibility is met, Criminality - Passed, Security - Not started. And she said that my file is at CIO, Sydney

I read some posts on this forum before where folks have told that if the file is still at CIO, Sydney , then that application is still considered to be in initial processing stages. But I began wondering if the eligibility is met and isn't considered "recommended pass" yet, and security has not started, how long would it take for me to before I could expect PPR. More importantly can I heave a sigh of relief yet thinking that my NOC Code/ experience matched and other eligibility criteria are met ? I know that security can take weeks to months, but I am hoping that there are no hiccups at that stage.

Could anyone with more understanding of how this process works shed some light on my case. Is it norm for all the files to be transferred to LVOs for security screening ?

Hello,

My AOR is also Sept 30th, medical passed and was asked to pay RPRF fee on Nov 9. I was happy thinking there must be some progress but background check has not started yet. There has been a silence since then. Can we call IRCC call center from India?

Hi,
AOR: Sep 5th
MEP: Sep 29th

I have renewed my passport recently while my PR is still under process. Do I need to update them or shall I wait for PPR email and send both passports? If i need to update to IRCC, How should I do it? Please help me with the situation.

Thanks
Same is the case with me.
I renewed my passport and raised a CSE for the same.

How to do this?
1. Click https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
2. Mention all what's changed, e.g. address, passport num, etc.
3. Hit 'Next'
4. Upload the relevant passport pages :)

[EDIT] Don't wait till PPR for updating them. One of my friends received passport number mismatch after PPR because his old passport was no longer valid and he submitted his new one.

Hopefully timelines dont shift, if only the passport number has changed.

Applications are transferred to LVOs when they're finalizing an application or for the LVO to process the application. Your file is in Canada and what you wrote indicated that you're past 75% of the process. Good luck

I called the cic last friday .

-My crim passed
-My elligibility is recommend passed
-My background (the security) in progress .

(Aor 17 sept / mep 17 oct / biometrics 23 nov).

----- Can someone please tell me what is Recommend passed means? Is this a good sign or no?
----- the secu in progress means i"m under a security screening ?
----- And how long approx do you think should i wait till i get the ppr ?

Thank you so much for your time !
You're past 75% of the process, your application should be finalized soon, most importantly your eligibility is recommended passed which means the rest is just a formality.

I have the same time line as yours. Got the RPRF request on the same day as yours and haven't heard anything ever since.
