My application was sent in since June 7th, 2018, my medical was sent in July, 2018.
My file was sent to Mexico on 24th October,2018 for further processing and when I check my ECAS I am seeing that it states that a receipt of acknowledgment was sent to me on 3rd January,2019 whereas i received another email and not an acknowledgment email and it says my processing was started on 20th November,2018.
Everything is mixed up.

Plzzz help.

And it has my husband home address as my home address.
Should I update my address????
I don't know what to do.

processing was started on 20th November,2018......your application is been processed......relax.

if your home address in the form submitted is different.....you may send a letter through IRCC webform to your visa office to update the address.

When I try to update it on ECAS, It only give an option to enter an old Canadian Address and not my address.
Is it that they change my home address to my husband home address because that's where I will be going to Or is it a problem there ?

Nothing is mixed up. They send out the aor generally after they start the process.. Relax. You have a long way to go. Process takes around 12 months. To soon to be stressing

Is it 12 months from when the application was sent in or 12 months after the appliction was sent and processing start at Mexico?

Mexico is one of the slowest VOs. People from jan and feb last year are now being called for interviews. Expect this process to go until AT LEAST july. You can order your notes if you are concerned so you can see what is happening. As pp said its WAAAAAY too earlt in the process to be stressed. This process requires a lot of patience

12 months from aor
12 months from the application being received, not 12 months from the AOR. AOR can take up to three months (or more), but the count starts when the app is received.

I see your point, but just because it's recieved at the office doesn't mean they start processing it that day...that up to 3 months for the aor, can be the time it takes to get from delivery to processing. The aor actually means they are looking at the application, and beginning the process.

It's not my point, it's how it is. It's been said many many times that the averages are from when you apply (to be precise, from the receipt of the app, but most people use couriers so it doesn't take more than a couple of days to receive from when they send it). That's why people are always asked when they applied. If you applied in June 2018, you can expect to get the PR at around June 2019, regardless of when you got your AOR.

Even on the official website where you check the average processing times, it gives you the average time and then says: If it’s been longer than the time shown above since you applied, check your application status. If you don’t see an update, contact us using the Web form.

So, since you applied, not since you got your AOR.
