2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

I am still waiting for DM on AIP and DM letter. Let's hope it will be over soon.

I have seen most of Vancouver office applicants have not received landing interview letter for some reason .I am also from Vancouver office. How about you ?

I’m actually from Kichener, one of the fastest office according to cic agent on the phone. I’ll probably wait for couple more weeks and if still nothing have to contact them again.
Few people I know at work did in kichener and theirs all went super fast (the slowest landed three weeks after the dm letter). Mines already slow...

I got the tickets here in Canada. just normal traffic ticket and none of them is driving under influence

Hello, according to other forums regarding traffic tickets, since these are just normal traffic tickets (no misdemeanors, no criminality) and they occurred in Canada where the RCMP can verify directly and easily, it should not impact your application process.

March 6th applicant
Medical request: Aug 30th
Background check process began on: Aug 30th (and continues "background in process" in MyCIC)
Medical passed: Sept
AIP letter in MyCIC: Jan 3, 2019
DM for both my spousal sponsorship and permanent residency apps in ECAS: Jan 3, 2019
DM letter (Inland Landing Letter in my email): Jan 4, 2019
Landing interview Date: Awaiting...

I have a question, if someone can please answer.
On my DM Letter it states that someone from the office in Etobicoke IRCC will contact me to arrange an appointment for the finalization of my PR application.
Does the office contact us by telephone or do they send us an email with the date and time of the appointment?
Also, is this the landing interview/appointment they are referring to in the letter?

If they use your old one (sometimes they do even after the 12months mark) it will show in your gckey account as "medical passed".

AOR May 8
Medical request Oct 3
Medical done Oct 17
Medical passed a few days later.

Latest change...we started processing ur app Dec 19

Some people with apps recieved after ours are getting AIP
I’m also noticing people getting background check status changing to in process long before or around time of medical. Ours still says not applicable.

Questions,

1) most people do medical within a few days of request. It took us 2 weeks to get an appt. Could the fact that people with app recieved dates after us are getting AIP have anything to do with the fact they got their medical done 1st?

2) should I be concerned my bg check still says not applicable?

Hello, in ECAS it states, "we started processing your application on April 10, 2018". My application was received on March 6th (I mailed it on March 5th).
