Hi
I am waiting for my Spouse Visa submitted Oct 18
I read somewhere there might have been an Option to come Earlier because of the Wait time being longer for Spouse Applications ? Some type of Work Permit while waiting for Spouse Visa to be Approved.
I am in Australia my wife has just recently moved back to Canada
Any info much Appreciated

Open work permit is only an option if you apply for PR inland. Since you applied outland, this isn't possible for you.

If you are the right age, you can look into applying for an IEC / Working Holiday Visa program which would grant you a work permit without having to find an employer first.

Otherwise you need to secure a job offer in Canada and your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA (4-6 month process) so that you can apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.

Your only option might be to enter Canada under 'dual intent', but that means that you are a visitor only and of course cannot work, but you can wait with your wife pending approval. Further 'unofficial' reading here:
