What I feel is once you leave the company, they would be less interested in sending you the reference letter as they have to put all that effort and time in writing the letter as per the IRCC format. But if you provide them the content of the letter, they wouldn't have a problem reviewing it, pasting it on a letter head and sending it back to you.

See if that helps.
I tried in many ways they are not willing to give any letter now. What is the best option to show my duties to satisfy visa officer?
1. I have provided them two contact information will that help?
2. I can also get duties on self affrimation letter from my colleagues does this help?
3. Do you have any other solutions to show them Duties?? pls.. anybody in the same situation???

  1. Do we pursue the New Application Route? Or wait for my IQAS ECA to come?
This will depend on what is faster. However, even if you send the IQAS ECA, It will be at the discretion of the officer to accept it. Further, what you claim in your profile is matched against the documents you submitted. Since you did not have IQAS at the time you created your profile, I highly doubt that it will be excepted at this stage.

  2. What documents will need to be refreshed if we do a New Application? I know PCCs and IELTS.
You can use all the same documents as long as they are valid as per IRCC.

    PCC -
    • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
    • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
IELTS - Your language test results must be valid (written in the last two years) when you submit your application for permanent residence.

  3. Can I use the same medical I submitted for the current application?
Meds are valid for 1 year. However, do remember that if your application is approved, and after a COPR is issued the validity of your visa is the 6 months, the date the meds expire, or the date the passport expires, whichever is earlier. So check accordingly.

  4. Do I get any refund from IRCC if I withdraw my application now? I havent heard anything from them for 6.5 months.
After your withdraw, the refund will be initiated automatically. It will take a few weeks. see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/refund.asp

  5. Any other guidance you can provide.
Thanks. Appreciate it. So we wait to see if IQAS does come around and try our luck. If not, we apply as my spouse the principal applicant.

Hello Everyone!
I have some friends in US and I want to stay for minimum 2 weeks before going to Canada. Can I do that?I hope, there’s no such rule that applicant should come direct from his home country only. In my case, I’m from India

It looks like you do not meet the CEC min requirements as your work experience, you claimed points for, is Internship/Co-op (without any SP history) resulted in bringing your points down from 462 to 396. Basically, your experience letters does not confirm if it was a full time employment and was for at least 1 year. Your work permit is LMIA exempt, but tied to specific employer, with exemption code of C21 (International Experience Canada) which only allows to gain work experience as i.e, on working holiday and/or Internships/Co-Op.

Do you have full time at least one year of work experience under the NOC you have specified? if yes, did your employment letters mentioned that?
Also, if your work permit is C21 LMIA exempted? if yes, how did you get the full time employment?

I think you need to address above mentioned questions and you might would like to submit the evidence with explanation to IRCC.

I am not sure if international work experience will have that much of an impact. However, from the notes it seems like the primary concern is about CEC (Canadian) work experience which they think is an Internship and Internships/co-op do not count when it comes to Canadian work exp.

Can you share the letter of Canadian work experience? 396 points seem to be due to the inability to meet Canadian Work Experience requirements. You might still be qualified for the FSW but 396 points won't do any good in that case either.

Can anyone help me i received my GCMS notes and it says review required. It states that no valid work experience appears requirement not met. Which is odd as job title and duties stated in letter is under NOC B. FSW-Inland. They have not asked for additional documents and to be honest i really dont know what to do to help my situation other than being patient. AOR 01 May 2018
