AOR:Oct 30, 2018
They have started to process our documents on December, 2013. Both SA & PR status says In process.

1. Application received at IRCC
   
2. IRCC start processing application
3. Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR 1)
4. Link Application to Online Account
5. Sponsor Approval and File transfer to VO
6. VO starts processing PR application (AOR 2)
7. Receive Request for Medical Exam
8. Medical Exam @ IRCC Panel Physician Clinic
9. Medical Exam Result
10. Passport Request (PPR)
11. Pick-up Permanent Residency Visa (PUM)

Spousal sponsorship process completion time varies depending on the visa office and on a case basis.......will advice you assume process from AOR to completion takes 12 months to help reduce the waiting stress.......relax.....its a wait game.

hi wakki, in my case they sent us medical req, we passed the medical after that they sent to local visa office. we got our aor2, but it still says bgc has not started yet. my husband never been to any country, no criminal history. how much time we can expect for ppr?

thanks for reply! so i have to count the processing time for 1 year from aor1 (nov1, 2018) or from the date they received my application (july 13,2018)?

If you apply by mail, the time starts when your application arrives in our mail room. If you apply online or in-person, it starts when you submit your application"

You are correct your 1 year starts from when they got your application NOT from AOR date.

Probably should be amended to make mention of biometrics which most applications are required to now give especially outland.

you are right....the 12 months starts from when IRCC receive application

Ok as you said earlier my 12 months processing time period started on nov 1 bcz i got aor1 is not correct? So i can start counting from july 13 when they rcvd my app?
