hello everyone,
my visitor visa was rejected because of these two reasons:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
so a backstory to this whole is that, i had been studying in the united states and waiting for my student visa as well. i came here with my father when i was a high schooler and then got accepted into my university so i was waiting for my change of status from j-2 to f-1. unfortunately, it was denied so i had to leave the states. so i decided that i was going to go to canada and apply for my visa and then come back once i had my f-1. i believed i was rejected a visitor permit because i no longer had an immigration status in the united states however, as the country of residence i put united states and i said my status was student. for the purpose of visit, i just put im going there to visit some places in canada and never mentioned reapplying for the united states. at the moment, i am going back to home country and i will apply to canadian universities; some things i wanted to know are:
1) is my denied visitor permit going to affect my future student permit?
2) next time, i should put iran(my country of birth/my citizenship) as my country of territory/residence?
3) there are no canadian embassies in iran so can i go to turkey or malaysia in order to apply for my student permit?
