no updates so far

contacted them through webform
Says ur application is under regular processing times
Hi Tony,

My friend applied sept 19th and no update still processing, yet I keep seeing everyone posting about getting it after applying in October.

So frustrating.

He sent a web form
And they just said oh it’s processing.

If you go to border, make sure you are from Visa exempt country. Else you can't get it from there.
where did you get that from ? As far as I know you only need a valid study permit and passport to flagpole
Since you’re not actually intending to go to the US, they just give you administrative refusal and then send you back to the Canadian side where you apply for the PGWP

The points you mentioned also applies. But you also need to be visa exempt. I have called CIC and confirmed.

Also its mentioned on CIC website:

The procedure described in that link seems different from flagpoling though . I mean unless this is a new thing introduced a few weeks ago , people have been flagpoling from countries that aren’t visa exempt and also no us visa

According to my research, we need to be visa exempt. But you may be right and that's a good thing.

Yahoooo! my application got approved today and I got a 3-year PGWP.
I submitted Oct 13, and it was directly approved Dec 20.

I'm so lucky to study in Canada with official status as a family member of a diplomat (my dad) :)
1) I was exempt from study permit.
2) I paid domestic fees.
3) I also had the privilege of having an open work permit throughout my study period.
4) House rent-free as our government paid our rent.
5) Received a no objection note from Global Affairs Canada and sent to IRCC and they approved my PGWP.

Now I can relax and enjoy some Netflix :D

All the best to you guys!

Hello Everyone
I am on visitor visa right now in Canada and my wife is post graduate work permit holder and she is working as a manager right nw means I m fulfilling the requirements for the work permit for myself but question can I go for the flag poling for my work permit ? And if they refused to issue me the work permit at the border so what will be the happen next ? They ll let me enter in the Canada again as a visitor or they ll apply the removal on me ?
Thnx

Anyone who got approval/eligibility review recently?

My application was accepted on October 13. Really hoping if they can process it before Christmas by 21 Dec.

Application submitted: Oct 16
Eligibility Review: Dec 21
Keeping my fingers crossed for the final decision .

Hello Tony,

which documents did you submit.

He submitted only his final transcript, I’m wondering if he can submit a webform request to include his graduation letter since this seems to be way too long and he’s getting very worried.

I will suggest you include your graduation letter as well via the web form. That way you are sure that you have provided all the relevant documents...

Congratulations!! How long did it take to get the approval after your eligibility was reviewed? My status changed to eligibility review since last Friday .
