What am I missing here? What's the hurry? Isn't it better if it takes longer? You might get PPR by then, so they will return the fees for the BOWP.

I'm not sure, but I think they don't return the BOWP fee. I need it because my current permit is expiring and my OHIP also expires. I must receive it by next thursday

Then you will be on implied status. It doesn't matter if it expires as long as you applied. They will return the fee if they haven't done much and you get your PPR.

On the other hand, it seems you are PNP, so it will probably take a long time for PPR. But still, you will still be on implied status.

Except that on a implied status you can't travel outside canada and you lose the health benefits (i.e OHIP in Ontario).
