Guys,

I am in dilemma and any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I sought my PR under SINP PNP International Skilled worker category. I landed on Oct 13 and lived here since then tried applying for jobs and everything but to no vain, there are handful of job opportunities compared to what I found in Ontario. I am in process of moving later this month. My question is whether it could cause any issues if I move before receiving my PR card as it has been delayed due to a photo resubmission issue. Can i update my mailing address to Ontario? Please help.

Found this article about a NL PNP applicant who got his PR revoked after leaving NL

I read the report, it seems he was employer sponsored. I dont know it that was the reason as the article doesnt clearly articulate the cause of explusion. I cant believe all PNPs have stayed in their province of nomination for 8 years.
The reason was that he showed no intent to stay and live in NL.

supposedly he was still seeking permanent residency when he moved.

"While it wouldn't discuss the case, the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour said that the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Agreement requires immigrants to live and work in this province as they pursue permanent residency."

No he was granted PR in September even though he had lived in NL for 8 years.

Crap...this is ridiculous. In that sense, all the PNPs who have moved for any reason would be eligibile for revocation. This is simply insane.

It's within your rights to freely move and take up job/school anywhere in Canada. If they started revoking PR(the article does not say he had PR and was actually pursuing PR), majority of immigrants would be left with no choice but to leave country as I know for a fact the abuse behind programs like Quebec investor Visa.
But at the same time, it's morally incorrect on your part to get PR based on nomination from a province where you had no intention to settle. This kind a behavior is criminal and fraud in my dictionary.

As PNP nominated applicant you should show the intent to reside in the province that help you apply for PR.
I obviously have had true intent and still do, but there arent any opportunities/positions in my field anymore. I am a project manager by profession. So far I could find only 5-6 on saskjobs (applied to all suitable positions and no response whatsoever) compared to 100s in Ontario. Should I put my career in jeopardy being morally obligated or think about my family? This is not directed to you by any means, just venting out :)

I appreciate your honest opinion. Read my above post. As someone who landed in hope of finding suitable position within line of field and not fiindng even positions to apply, it is much easier to say when you already have been in Canada working and seeking Pr under nomination. Its a whole another ball game when you are new to find applicable jobs. Just clarifying my intent is pure unlike anyone who truely abuse the system.

The article did stated that the applicant had obtained PR in September.

"It was September and the personal trainer had accomplished a goal of his own: He received confirmation of his permanent residency in Newfoundland and Labrador, the province he has called home for eight years."

Like I said, that's strictly my opinion but I am nobody to judge you.
It's well within your rights as guaranteed by the Constitution of Canada to move and take up job anywhere in Canada. I will wait till December 31 before moving to ensure that you file taxes in Sask. for this tax year just to play safe.

"It was September and the personal trainer had accomplished a goal of his own: He received confirmation of his permanent residency in Newfoundland and Labrador, the province he has called home for eight years."
From the same article:

Rayner had confirmation of his permanent residency but had to complete one more step before it became official.

While it wouldn't discuss the case, the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour said that the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Agreement requires immigrants to live and work in this province as they pursue permanent residency.

I don't appreciate fear mongering. For some people, immigration is a matter of life or death.
I have yet to come across a person who was granted status of PR and was officially revoked unless they committed a crime or treason.
