Hello,

I would like to know several things:

1. Can I sponsor my parents in 2019? I became a PR last year.

2. My husband can be a co-signer when I sponsor my parents? He sponsored my permanent residence. Not sure if he can be a co-signer during undertaking period of time for my PR. I have last 3years of income(my salary is under $50,000) but it does not meet the minimum amount to support three family members. So I wonder if my husband can be the co-signer.

3. What docs my parents need to be prepared? Please list them all.

Thank you

1. If you meet the income requirements with income from Canadian sources, yes.
2. Yes - he can co-sign. Note that you must meet the income requirements for 4 people - not 3 (assuming you have no children).
3. 2019 documents and forms aren't posted yet. You should keep checking the IRCC site for updates.

Hi scylla. Thank you for your reply.
What was the minimum income level for 5 people? I have a 6 month baby.
