Well, CIC said on their website that any application received after 1st Dec for jan intake will be rejected. So, not sure what will be the status of his application.

Doesn't matter if online or offline. Check the study permit FAQ on CIC website. That's what they wrote.

We can not apply on vfs after 1dec
But vfs can apply all the application to embassy that are submitted till 1st dec

Chandigarh visa office files

Any updates ?m

I applied on 31 October and file received by Chandigarh visa embassy on 1st November at 7:45. Still no update.( under sds offline)
