Hi there everyone
I went through a big chunk of the forum but I couldn't find the answer to my question. If I someone is already in Canada working, with good job and wants to apply for PR and is eligible only for CEC what answer should that person choose in Expees Entry when they ask for funds? My friend is in the situation that she doesn't have that minimum $12,475 and the only option for her to choose from is "Less than 12,475 - not enough settlement funds". If she chooses that, will she still be considered for CEC working as a project manager in BC?

Thanks
"
Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."

Thanks Grizz.

However, if I mention a NOC code which is in Skill set C; will my profile get rejected?
Hi,

As @Grizz initially suggested, only claim points for 5 years. So don't include the first 3 years in work history.
You will have to include it in your personal history if it falls within the last 10years (no evidence is required in this section).

Hi All,
In Work Experience, do we have to provide the address of the employment or Employer's address?
In my case, I have been working at a client location while my office is in a different city.

TIA
Hi,

Put the employer's address not the client's.

Hi guys,

I'm not claiming any points for my Spouse's employment. However, in the EE profile we mentioned her current and previous employment details. And to provide proofs for her previous employment we only have the relieving letter. And we are not confident on the HR contact provided in the relieving letter on confirming about her employment. Will the Case Officer verify her employment details as well. Please let me know on how to handle this situation.
Hi,

Since you are not claiming any points for this dont include it in her employment history. Just say she has no history at all and put all her experience in the personal history section. That way no reference are needed.

Hello Experts,

I am doing a course that has the option to self pace and finish it much quicker than 1 year although the academic length of the course is equivalent to one year as confirmed by the institution.

So, my question is if I do the evaluation with ICES or CES, will there be any problem as I wont be taking entire one year for completing the course? Thanks
Hi,

I don't think there will be a problem. However, I have only dealt with WES.

We are creating an ee profile. As per crs calculator we have 446.
I have some doubts on work history.
1. Wife is the primary applicant and has 1 yr experience as permanent employee. Other experiences are contract/temporary. Shall we provide only that 1yr in work history?
2. Secondary applicant dont have canadian experience. Shall we mention experience here as 'No'?
Hi,

1) You can claim points for all her experience as long as you have reference letters for it, both part-time and full time.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=730&top=29 (CEC)

"The minimum requirements for federal skilled workers are:

Skilled work experience
You must have at least one year, in the last ten years before you submit your electronic application for permanent residence, of continuous full-time work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in a skilled occupation listed in Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B of the 2016 version of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC)."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=689&top=29 (FSW)

So she only requires 1 year of continuous, full-time experience. The rest can be made up of part-time work.

2) Correct. Just mention the experience in the personal history section. No evidence is required.

I have crs 447, considering recent cutoff of 449 i am in doubt now. Will i get ita in coming draws? Also what will be the crs cutoff in coming year? I have a saving account in which my salary is getting credited from last 5 years. I have put funds around $16500 in that account in past two months slowly by cheque to show as liquid fund proof. Major part of money is given to me by my brother and mother. Is it 100% mandatory that funds need to be 6months old or gift deed has to be given along.? I am single applicant
Hi,

I hope you got your ITA.

2- It is not mandatory to keep funds in your bank account for months. If you funds are in the account for less than 6 months you just need to provide evidence of where you got it. In you case, the gift deeds will be perfect. You will also need to submit a bank statement showing these deposits into your account.

All the best.

L 7.5, R 7, W 6 and S 7, does it that score give, good marks for EE?
Hi,

Most likely wont be. Aim for L8, S7, R7, W7 to maximise your score.
However, as advised, it also depends on all the othe factors.

regards

My current CRS point is 380. But now i have got work permit in Canada and started working in Toronto from last 2 months. Also my wife has joined work in one of the financial organization in Canada as a Full Time Employee for last 1 month. Now can we get additional CRS points for our respective jobs?
Hey,

Congratz, could you guide me through please how to grab the jobs in Canada from India ?
I am in the process of PR, your guidance would be very helpful.
Please share job portals, or how did you contact them or what you think significantly helped you to grab the job?

Hey guys,

I got ITA today, so have some questions for the senior members of this forum.

1. Do I need to submit the medical with my PR application or they will ask for it later?

2. The copies of my Education Certificates has to be Notarized or not?

3. And they also ask if I'll pay some Right of permanent residence fee, should I pay it with my application?

4. And lastly, how much time they will take to give AOR after I submit PR application. Cuz my permit is expiring soon, so I was thinking about OBWP(Open Bridge Work Permit) as an option.

I'd really appreciate your time and all your replies would be really helpful for me. :)

HI All,
One of my friend has the name mentioned in her passport as 'Varsha Rose Thomas' whereas in her educational documents it has only 'Varsha Rose', in this case does she need to select the answer to the question as "Have you ever used any other name?" as 'Yes' or 'No'. I am thinking she should select it as 'No' with a same name affidavit and LOE to support it. Is that good enough? Because when she is selecting 'Yes' she has to upload a legal name change document.
